Good price for great licorice.

I think this was the freshest licorice I have ever had and I was extremely happy with the price. I had to purchase 12 to place the order, but that will last a while and it was less than half price per package than it would have been to have purchased just one package in a local store. Well worth the order. Very pleased.

11/27/24 I ordered the Twizzlers black licorice flavored twists as a case of twelve packages. How convenient to have a good supply on hand. The Twizzlers black licorice flavored twists are delicious. Will order more before my supply gets low.12/22/24 I purchased my first case of 12 packages on 10/12/24. The price was $35.88 for 12 packages.Today the price is $63.48 for 12 packages. I can understand a price increase, but this is a 177% price increase. The unit cost for a package in a case should be significantly less than when purchasing one package at a time. I am requesting that Amazon review their pricing on this item. Thank you.

These reviews seem to cover both the nibs and Twizzlers. My review is about the Twizzlers. I am the only one that loves them and the rest of my family accuses me of buying them only because they won't eat them. They taste delicious. They arrived on time and well packaged. Nice and fresh. Expiration date is close to a year out. For the price it's a great deal. Will order more once my stash runs low. Lucky for me it's the only candy the kids/grandkids will stay away from so they will last me much longer.

I used to buy this from time to time at the store, then for some reason, they dropped this item, and only had another brand on the shelves. The other brand is not shiny like these are, and has a completely different texture as you eat them. These are a joy to munch on, so I have to be careful and limit myself to a few pieces, then fold the bag end over to keep the rest moist until I allow myself a few more, a few more, and a few more, until the bag is empty. I like the bags that are re-closeable, but these bags are not. If you open one end carefully, and can do it without a rip going down onto the area of the bag, you can neatly fold the end over and pay the bag flat, folded flap tucked under, and they will stay fresh.Yummy! Fine product - fresh, real black licorice. But the price just got jacked up from $22 to $32 for the same quantity: 12 packages of one pound (16 ounces) each. Very disappointing and off-putting.

My family loves black, licorice, and in the past year the stores don’t always have this item available. Subscribing and ordering a case is the easiest way to ensure that we always have it in the house.

I bought licorice just as pictured there. Stupidly I assumed it was black. Nope It was strawberry. 6 bags of it . I threw it away. Then I made sure to find seller for black and all is well.
