Excellent product
This is a fabulous product. Great for stimulating your skin. Helps with collagen production. Feels tingly but in a good way. Definitely try it for awhile. This is a great line of skin care. I use a lot of their product line.

So far so good!
So far so good! Only used twice, but I believe I see redness fading already. The tingle for me was so mild and only lasted about 30 seconds. And I have fairly sensitive skin. So don't let that scare you. Use a small amount, gently pat into skin, and start slow - 2x a week at most until you feel good about it and can increase. Apply other skincare after.

Feel a 'tingly' sensation on my face when using this.
This stuff is red in color and seems to make my face a little bit red too. I don't know if it's because of the color or the gel or my face reacting to the ingredients. It says it's a low irritation formula but I definitely feel a 'tingly' sensation on my face when using this. Not sure I like that, but my pore size does seem to be reduced a bit from this, so maybe the tingly sensation is worth it.

Great serum
Love this! Makes your skin tingle and feel refreshed. Using the face wash, then toner and the serum. Your skin feels amazing, not dry or irritated.

Effective serum to help with skin concerns!
Late last year I’ve been noticing more little stress wrinkles popping up but luckily they're not trenches-sized yet, but enough to make me think about how I want to care for my skin as I get older. I’m not ready to jump into Botox or something drastic, so I’ve been exploring products that help me age gracefully but not too quickly...I've used Medicube and April Skin before and they're both great brands, I still adore and still using the Calendula Flower Facial Mask every week. This is actually my 3rd or 4th time trying something with spicules or exosomes, and I think it works well. The Toning Shot feels like it’s tackling my specific concerns a bit more directly, I typically use less than a full pump and apply it to my forehead and vertical stress line. Plus, it’s so much more affordable than booking some clinical treatment (costing upwards of $200 per session in my area,) especially right now while there's an additional discount during the Prime Spring Sale. I’ve ordered another bottle before the sale is over.Personally I only pat in spicule/exosome because I think it's less irritating than rubbing it in. If you haven't used spicules and exosome before, it's tiny vesicles that have an ability to pass through tissue barriers and are used as "delivery carriers" and help transport anti-oxidants and ingredients like vit c, hyaluronic acid, etc deeper and improve wrinkles, wound healing, discoloration etc. So yes, in-clinic treatment at reputable clinics will always be more potent and better than at-home treatments, but having a product that could help absorb the other skincare products deeper into your skin, even if it's not 'as effective' is better than not using it at all in my mind. This April Skin Toning Shot has a pigmented pink serum, no fragrance, it absorbs quickly and there's no sticky mess. There's tinging kinda like needles sensation when you apply this, it doesn't hurt and there's no irritations, but it's why I pat mine into the skin and not rub.I apply this as step 0 after cleansing on clean dry skin. Just a small pump is plenty for my trouble spots, I pat it on gently and never rubbing and focus on spots like my forehead and around my laugh lines where I’ve noticed more unevenness. If you’re new to spicules or exosomes, ease into it, don’t go overboard right away. Maybe start with a small amount to see how your skin handles it. For me I love how it preps my skin for everything else toner, serum/ampoule, moisturizer. If you're fancy shmancy and own a red light lamp or face mask, I think you can apply exosome, toner and serum/ampoule then red light, before sealing it with moisturizer to get the BEST ROI for your skincare products. After a few weeks, I’ve noticed my skin looking firmer, and my wrinkle lines aren't as noticeable as much. Definitely giving my complexion a healthier glow. It's much more affordable than invasive procedures or in-office treatments. If you share my desire for an effective way to maintain your skin without having to use botox yet, this option is definitely worth considering!

Super on the fence with this still…
I’ve heard so much about these “shot” serums and I try a LOT of different skincare out but have yet to try any of these “shot” serums - but finally wanted to see what the hype was about and decided to try out this APRILSKIN TXA Niacinamide Toning Shot 99 Spicule Facial Serum.I first tried on my hand cause I was scared it would hurt. No feeling or tingling sensation at all. So I did a spot test on my face. Nothing. Then tried another area. Nothing. Then did my full face, again, nothing.I have enlarged pores so I will try anything to help reduce my pores. I’m going to continue using this in hopes that it helps - even though I’m a little skeptical and on the fence with it since I feel zero tingling sensation at all….

Totally amazing
I’ve recently added the APRILSKIN TXA Niacinamide Toning Shot to my skincare routine, and it’s been a game changer for my early signs of stress-related fine lines. I’m not quite ready for injectables, so I’ve been seeking targeted, non-invasive skincare solutions—and this serum checks all the right boxes. This isn't my first time using spicule or exosome-based skincare, but I found this formula to be especially approachable. The tingling, prickly sensation is definitely there (a reminder it’s working!), but not painful—just a spicy wake-up for the skin. I always pat it in gently rather than rub to avoid irritation, especially since spicules act like tiny delivery systems that help other ingredients penetrate deeper.I apply a small amount—less than one full pump—only on targeted areas like my forehead and smile lines. It absorbs fast with no sticky residue and pairs beautifully under toner, serum, and moisturizer. If you’re into red light therapy, this makes an excellent pre-light treatment serum too. I love that it's fragrance-free, lightweight, and doesn’t interfere with makeup or sunscreen. After a few weeks, I’ve seen subtle but meaningful improvements—my skin feels firmer and looks smoother, especially in areas that were starting to show uneven texture. The fact that it enhances the effectiveness of my other products is a huge bonus. Plus, with the current discounts, it’s much more affordable than in-office treatments. I’ve already reordered during the sale.If you’re new to spicule or exosome skincare, ease in slowly—but this is a fantastic entry point and a worthy addition to any age-conscious routine. I’ll definitely keep this in rotation.
