Wow! I just received it and tested it out, and this little gadget is going to save me tons of frustration! I have the hardest time threading the zipper pulls onto zipper tape lengths and with this it's a breeze!

Yes, you can attach a zipper with help of a fork by balancing the zipper head on the tines. You can try to hold the fork, pretending you have the 3 hands you really need, or tape it to something.....but just don't. Seriously, save yourself some major frustration and get one of these...especially if you are trying to attach zipper heads to small coil zippers. Pain in the neck without the proper tool! Was I cheap for years? Yes...Did I say some words I am not proud of trying to hold a fork in one hand and wrestle 2 sides of zipper tape into those fussy slots? ~maybe...Do I wish I bought this years ago? YES! I have one of mine taped (with included double stick backing) to the vertical leg of my sewing table. I think having it vertical is easiest. I also have a little cloth pouch underneath in case my zipper head isn't on right and falls through (has yet to happen but don't want to have to hunt for it when it does). Maybe I'll be nice and do a video at some point but wanted to give this a big thumbs up before I forget :-)

It functions as expected and holds all the pieces together while you construct the zipper you need. I really only need one of these, but it's a two pack. There is peel-off adhesive tape on the bottom of the tool so you can stick it to your work table to it does not move around while you are putting a zipper together. The product description page provides a good diagram of how to use the device.

I just started sewing with custom sized zippers and was getting so frustrated! It was so hard to line everything up. This saved my sanity. I wish I had known sooner that it existed!So, what I have is a roll of zippers, and a box of pulls and zipper stops. The idea is that you cut whatever size zipper you need and just attach the pull and put a stop at the end. Sounds easy right? It wasn’t. It is with the tool though! So glad I found this!
