good for cabbages
spread over arched plastic piping and pinned down at edges. Good initially, but my patch of cabbages was too big for my arches and leaves inside touched mesh, butterflies laid eggs through mesh which hatched and I now have a nice cage to contain the white butterflies! Need to poke bamboo stakes up the pipe next year to make arches higher and wider. We learn from experience!

On the stiff side
As others have said, it is quite stiff, and it needs to be supported. If you cut it to size, it tends to fray, so if it causes a problem a seam might have to be sown on it. Otherwise, hopefully it will do the job and keep out plant eating bugs.

This works very nicely. Nice strong mesh. Using this I have no signs of carrot fly or allium leaf miner which are prevalent on my allotment. I just stuck some bamboo canes in the ground with plastic water bottles over the ends then lay this over and placed a few bricks round the edge to hold it down.

Great netting
This netting has been great for the vegetables that needed covering keeping all the insects off so would recommend.
