The Scorp mini 2 is a really good gimbal for an amazing price. It might not be the most portable gimbal when folded, but it makes up with ergonomics in action. The Scorp Mini 2 is designed to work with various devices, with all required mounting options included. The tiny touch-enabled display offers most of the controls, if you want bigger and more options you can use the dedicated app.It takes about 5 min to assemble Scorp Mini 2 in the desired configuration. No tools are required, as everything connects using quick-release mounts and the metal construction of each axis arm gives durable impressions. Each motor comes with a dedicated lock to store the gimbal for transport and plates allow for adjustments to balance even the biggest payloads (up to 1.2kg). Switching between a mobile phone, action camera or DSLR shouldn’t take more than 2-3 min. From a control perspective, the Scorp Mini 2 is designed well. The handle with a big OLED touch-enabled display is easy to navigate and 7 dedicated buttons + a joystick control everything from power to special functions and modifiers. I particularly like the fact that the rotary encoder can be assigned to each axis with a flip of a side button, or set to control the camera’s focus or zoom (with compatible models).All leaves a very professional impression, and it eases the operations. Even if your camera isn’t supported, the ability to quickly adjust the angle of one of the axes, cannot be overstated. If I could complain about one thing, it would be the position of the rotary encoder, which is a bit too far from my thumb to reach it with one hand. I’d love that option to make micro tilt adjustments.The AI tracking is very responsive to gestures. It works so well, I’m impressed., I didnt know what to expect and am pleases the Scorp Mini 2 to do well with single face tracking and completely fall apart when multiple faces are presented. I tried to fool the AI tracker but even when I tried to deliberately confuse it by going behind another person, 9 out of 10 times, the AI would resolve the track correctly and follow me accordingly.I can strongly recommend this Scrop 2 mini, it stands out above others. Not only because of the price but also built quality and overall look and feel.I purchased the extension pole which is a very nice add-on which gave an even better feel, especially when push the Scrop mini 2 more horizontal or when making higher overview shots!

The media could not be loaded. Honestly this little thing surprised me. I used it with my Sony ZVE1 with a cage on it so it is still quite a hefty boy but i was able to run it. I had it with a 20mm prime lens and although i do need to help it sometimes it was able to easily handle it once it got going. The gimbal features all work qutie well and just seem to be intuitive right out of the box. I filmed quite a few shorts and long form videos with the gimbal and each time it is quite easy to do besides rebalancing which took me some practice with this particular gimbal.I love that there are hand signals you can give the gimbal to start following,framing. It is quite good although because the camera is to the left a little it is just slightly out of frame at times especially with a tight lens.Overall this thing has been a joy to use and i am quite impressed with its capabiltities a huge win is that this is light weight and much smaller than most gimbals.

Has many features and you can pair it with your phone.It all works great.At frist i thought it would be hard to balance but one 5 minute long YouTube video and I was able to do it.Also the software has a built-in gauge that lets you know how far out of balance you are and allows you to do micro adjustments.All works great for my sony zv-1f

Used with Gopro, phone Canon Eos R with kit 24-105 and Fuji X-h1, with 16-55mm lens. Never had an issue. The Feiyutech apps are easy to use and very straightforward.

I was initially very happy with my Scorp Mini 2—smooth performance, easy handling, and great stabilization. However, after about 8 months of use, it suddenly developed a major issue: it began shaking uncontrollably and hasn’t stopped since. No amount of recalibration or resetting has resolved the issue. Disappointed, as I expected more durability.

I bought the FeiyuTech SCORP Mini 2 Camera Gimbal for use with my Sony ZV-E10, and overall, it’s a nice gimbal with good stabilization. However, balancing it can be tricky. Even small adjustments, like removing the lens cap or opening the screen, affect the balance, which can be a hassle to manage each time. The AI hand gesture feature was one of the big selling points for me, but it’s a bit slow to respond. I’m hopeful that this will improve over time with updates. Despite these challenges, it still does a solid job stabilizing my shots and has some promising features!
