Spend a little time matching the rivet nut to a best fit drill bit size.
I did some time with a caliper to best match drill size to rivet nut, and that helped get a best grip in the hole.I used a drill type rivet nut installation tool and find that you really need to lubricate the threaded die prior to insertion into the rivet nut to prevent tool damage and twisting of the rivet nut. This may not be a problem with a standard plier type installation tool that does not rotate during installation.

Had a customer who tried to put a pergola together and stripped out a bunch of the rivets. These were as close to OEM replacements as you could get. Did what I needed.

Good assortment of threaded inserts (rivnuts). My package was handled roughly by delivery agent causing the interval dividers to become dislodged and the contents mixed. The case cracked.Nevertheless, the rivnuts performed well and install perfectly. Good quality and are magnetic helpful when one drops to the ground.

Great price for quality nut rivets!
These nut rivets worked great for my application. I would recommend getting a quality tool for installing them as I used a grade 8 bolt, nut and washer to install which required a 1/2” breaker bar to get them to compress.
