I ordered this as I had a fractured ankle and the surgeon warned me that a lot of people requested he removed the hardware later because it rubbed against hiking boots. I wanted something that would cushion the lateral malleolous, that bump on the outside of your ankle. I was not ecstatic when I opened the package as I was expecting something like a Reston foam with a sticky side and thicker however I quickly became quite pleased with this as it does a really good job of protecting a sensitive area. I was having issues with even the texture of my socks. When I cover the area with some of this foam, there are no issues with sensitivity over that area. It stays in place well without wrinkling or rolling. It is not sterile, so if using it over an area with an open wound, I would use a sterile barrier first, but it does give good cushioning.

I had 2 foot surgeries & was cheaper and better for me in a walking boot. Can be cut to any size to meet the specific need. Really prevents rubbing.

These are quite narrow but work as it should for lymphadema wrapping.

I was so upset to see the poor quality of this product. VERY UNSATISFIED!!! It cost over $15 for some CHEAP foam!! DON'T BUY!!!

Works well as padding for my c-pap mask straps.

Tears too easily, and you don't get very much for price paid.

I have lymphedema and I use the foam over the stockinette and under the short stretch bandages for wrapping the leg. Works but 4 inch width would be better. Not extremely durable but it does work.
