Nice pliers, too bad they are made overseas
Handles seem to be coming off the plier? I see no branding on the plier. I sure hope it’s not a knockoff. Good weight, feels like good steal, with strong front grip. Really wish they were made in USA, but they are not.

Why did I wait so long?
Get one, if you’re thinking “hey this would make taking connectors apart, maybe I should buy it” then you’re right, just get it. I couldn’t believe how much smoother this makes removing those stubborn wire connectors. Glad I bought it and you will be too.

Absolutely Worth It – These Pliers Make the Job So Much Easier
I don’t normally leave long reviews, but these Lisle electrical disconnect pliers seriously deserve some praise. I do a decent amount of work on my cars and trucks—mostly weekend DIY stuff—and if you've ever had to deal with stubborn electrical connectors (especially those evil little tabs that seem to be designed purely to frustrate you), you already know how annoying and time-consuming it can be.These pliers? Total game changer.First off, they’re super simple to use. There’s no crazy learning curve or need to look up YouTube videos on how to handle them. You just slide the tips in around the connector tab, give a little squeeze, and boom—off it comes. No more broken clips, no more chewed-up connectors from trying to pry with a flathead screwdriver or your fingers. It’s like the tool was custom made for the one job it does, and it nails it every time. The design is clever, too. The head of the pliers let you get into tight spots that your hands would normally never reach, especially in modern engine bays where everything is packed tighter than a can of sardines. Another feature for the (37990 - Straight pliers) is that they are spring loaded, so one handed operation is a breeze. I used them recently while replacing my fuel injectors, and there were a couple connectors buried so deep I was about ready to give up. These pliers got in there like a surgical tool and made the disconnection smooth and stress-free.The build quality feels solid—nothing cheap or flimsy about them. They’re unfortunately made in Vietnam (which I didn’t even realize until after I bought them), however you can tell they’re built to last. I’ve put them through a few tough jobs already, and there’s no wear or play in the pliers at all. The handles are comfortable too—coated with a nice grippy material that doesn't slip around even if your hands are a bit oily.Honestly, for the price, this is one of those tools you wish you’d bought years ago. It’s not flashy or complicated—it just does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and it does it really, really well. If you work on your own vehicles and have cursed at a connector more than once, do yourself a favor and pick these up. You’ll wonder how you ever managed without them. One star removed since I'm pretty sure these used to be made in the USA.Highly recommend!
