Purchased this drive because a Windows update killed my laptop. I got a blue error screen and nothing I tried would work. The videos and instructions that come with this usb drive are among the best I have seen. Whoever came up with them did a good job of pointing me toward where I needed to start and giving me detailed steps on how to get my Windows 10 laptop to startup and run again. I did have a problem with the repair installation stopping halfway through. However, I followed the instructions to email the vendor. It was late at night, so I expected a response the next day. Instead, I received a response within a few minutes. I followed their detailed instructions, which pointed me to written instructions on the drive. I responded after I tried each step and they stayed with me, giving me the next thing to try. They had allot of patience. Eventually, it was determined that a file was apparently damaged. Going just by my Amazon order number and communications about the problem, they told me they would rush me a replacement drive. Once they had by shipping address, they let me know the drive would arrive to my address between 1 and 5 p.m. the next day. As previously mentioned, this was late at at night--far beyond the usual cutoff times for delivery of similar products, and the other products had two-day delivery times. The replacement arrived in the estmated time frame. With the tax and other deadlines approaching this was really appreciated. I highly recommend this product and the seller.

My computer is my life, my escape from reality. 1 day before a 2 week vacation with no plans other than drinking and playing video games, my nvme drive that had windows installed on it, died... i was left scrambling, looking for the usb I used to install windows when i built the pc in 2019. Nowhere to be found. Bought a new drive, had a friend who had a usb with windows 10 and tried that... that usb was corrupted... Desperate, I took to the internet to find anything, and came across this item. Was suspicious considering its only $20 and half expected it to just be a blank usb when it showed up... it was NOT. It worked flawlessly and now im back in windows getting everything set up again. All my saved game data is lost but thats all I had so i can deal with that. This thing saved my vacation and im so thankful for it. Hopefully I wont have to buy one again, but if I need to, this will be the first place I go

I have an older Dell XPS 8300 desktop that I bought in 2011. It did all that I needed to and pretty much still does. I paid over $1000 for it so I have gotten my money out of it. However, it has gotten increasingly slow with boot times around 5 minutes or more. I practically stopped using it when I got my fast Chromebook but I still have need of a Windows machine so I wanted to keep this computer. I decided to upgrade to an SSD while keeping my factory HDD in the tower. I successfully installed the SSD and went to the Windows Media Creation tool site to create a bootable USB flash drive. When I went to install Windows I kept getting an error message about missing drivers. I tried booting back to my original HDD but was getting Windows Boot Manager errors. Nothing was working and I scoured the Internet for a solution. Still nothing worked. Finally, I saw this little item on Amazon and decided to take a chance and buy it.....and voila it worked! I was able to install Windows 10 pro. I did a clean install on the SSD rather than clone the drive as everything I read said a clean install is better if you're looking for increased speed and performance. I am now in the process of using my external SSD drive that I used for backups to restore all my old files. I plan to use the HDD for additional storage. I just want to say if you are unsure about buying this item, give it a shot. I am very happy as I thought I was going to have to do computer shopping. Microsoft is ending support for Windows 10 in October 2025 so I do plan on getting a new PC at year's end but for now I get a reprieve with a much faster machine. This seller cares about his customers. He includes videos and an email address if you run into trouble. You can tell he knows what he is doing and is highly skilled. Thank you Thank you Thank you!

Easy to use. Installs quickly and does so much. I used it to erase my password on my older laptop, then rest it. I installed Windows 8 on a laptop and Windows 10 on a laptop as well. It has install options for windows 8,10, & 11. As well as help to reset or erase your login password. Highly recommend this for anyone that needs to recover a computer or just forgot there password to login to there computer.

Life saver -- Purchased for a Win 11 that network chip apparently went bad so no help... 6 months later issue with my Win7 Pro 64 and it would not boot beyond the boot choices screen -- I'm screwed. Finally got it to the factory recovery process BUT I used this USB BOOT to get files downloaded before the RECOVERY process ran.. Ran recovery and a disaster as factory depended on MS to get updates - NO MS NO UPDATES for Win 7. I downloaded and burned a few ISO files of Win 7 Pro but ALL FAILED to give me a usable Win 7 operating system. So tried the Win 7 Pro in this wonderful little USB drive - SAVED MY BUTT!!!! Fantastic loading of Win 7 Pro 64 with a number of the Win 7 MS updates. WOW so thankful. One issue I had was there is an install video that the VLC program on the usb would not play. After the Win 7 was installed MS Media Player played the file... No idea why VLC would not show it. MINOR ISSUE OVERALL WHEN YOU NEED IT!

Excellent kit for those who don’t backup like they should… nerd tested and approved. Not only did I recover some files I thought were lost, I gained a media PC as BitLocker was standing in the way. Honestly should have built this for myself but was in a pinch and was well worth the price. I tip my hat to the folks that run this opp.
