Originally bought the motu m2 as a replacement to my motu ultralite mk3 but, i had problems right out of the box with it (especially with latency) and I immediately regretted not buying ultralite mk5 instead, so I sent it back and ordered that. Quite a jump in cost but it was worth it to me. So easy to use, so much more capable and sounds great. No problems with drivers or latency. Relieved.

Took a little figuring out, too many options to digest... ways to route signals, recording software etc. but once understood the thing is amazing. I was able to smile using a SM7B, SM57 and SM58.... All sound great!

I could NEVER have hoped for a better performing interface than this MOTU MK5........... the pre's and converters are outstanding, not to mention the noise gate, compressor and an EXCELLENT EQ!BUY IT! .............. RME and the like are charging outlandish amounts of money for the products they offer.
