Organic Amba Haldi Powder - Curcuma Amada - White Turmeric-100% Pure, Clean and Natural (100g)

I’m really pleased with the quality of this Organic Amba Haldi Powder. It’s fresh, finely ground, and has a lovely, natural aroma as well as a bright yellow colour. The packaging is secure and resealable, keeping the powder fresh for longer. Amba Haldi has a unique, slightly earthy and mildly tangy flavour, different from regular turmeric, and I’ve found it perfect for both culinary and skincare uses. I’ve used it in herbal teas and homemade face masks, and it blends well without any graininess. It’s great to know this is 100% pure and natural with no additives.

This isn’t what I was expecting from the description of the smell and flavour online. Mine smells very strong like disinfectant and tastes the same, like eating Tea Tree oil! I did a quick Google search and this can indicate that it is not fresh or hasn’t been stored correctly. Is it possible I’ve got a bad batch?
