Dare I say even better than the original just a bit more bulky in the charge station

Earpads are very nice and better than the originals in my opinion, much more breathable, but is way more noise canceling.4 stars because the headband is way too firm and compresses your hair too much but good product

Original ones made my ears sweat definitely worth purchase as it's like a upgrade for my 3rd gen a50's

I got the package in an unlabeled ziplock looking bag but if im throwing the bag out anyways whatever. I got 2 mic plumes and 1 head and left and right ears. Very easy instal, they fit perfectly. They changed the way the headphones sounded very drastically. They are 10x more sound isolated but at the same time, they have a plastic cup-over-ears-sound even when I have taken the mids completely out of my EQ. They have the cloth part that touches your head but a plastic/pleather on both the outer edge as well as the inner edge, I figured that the sound is reflecting on the inside pleather giving that plastic cup sound, so I took the cloth covers off my old ears and safety pinned them to where they cover that inner rim and it has definitely helped that issue. They should just not use the pleather on the inside in the next version. The pleather on the outide seems fine and gives amazing sound isolation and noise canceling, Like I cant hear hardly anything with these on now. Otherwise great build quality. I dont really know if that cooling thing is really working, I guess they would be better compared to cups that are full pleather but yeah I was using the cloth ones that never had an issue like that.

I love them however the only thing I have issues with is the top head piece is super stiff and hurts my head, after about an hour so im constantly repositioning it and then it makes the whole headset feel off or that its gonna fall off of my head!!

im only giving this 3 stars because the outer packing had a mysterious sticky smelly oil on it and when i put on the a50 headphones now i smell it strongly on the ear cups, it smells like tea tree oil or something like that. Aside from that the ear cups are comfortable and fit on the charger base well. Oh another thing is the headband part did not fit my PS4 gen 3 a50's so i guess im gonna have to continue wearing them with twisty ties holding the old headband cushion to the frame.
