Really nice quality.
I purchased this to replace the cable on a shark vacuum cleaner which was very poor quality. Not an easy swap but miles safer than the factory fitted one.

NOT suitable for "all Hoover" vacuum cleaners.
Despite being advertised as suitable for "all Hoover" (and other) vacuum cleaners, the CSA of the cable supplied (not stated in the listing) is only 0.75mm^2, which is NOT sufficient for a 1900W Hoover SM1901, or any other appliance rated at more than 1400W. Returned.

Use with caution!
Worked perfectly to start with but less than a year on and it’s faulty and the plug has burnt out, tripping electrics and filling a room with smoke. Perhaps we were just very unlucky but just something to be cautious of!

Better than original
Heavier cable than the original and can take the occasional 'run over'. Had to replace original as there was a break in the conductor around 2m from the machine.
