Nice Desktop
This is very lightweight it has lots of ports to connect other devices. If your laptop does not a usb-c port, you will need an adapter. It is compact and collapses for easy transport.Highly recommend.

Inevitably defective
Bought this about 7 months ago. It's recently started seriously glitching out. It will randomly fail to recognize my laptop at all, and then I just can't use it. It's still in warranty so I contacted them, but I have to pay to ship it back to them, and only once they've tested it will they send me a new one. That means I'd be without a dock for a long time, so I might as well buy something better as a replacement. Also, based on the other reviews, the replacement they send will likely start having the same problems eventually, so there's not really a point. It's a shame because it's quite nice while it's actually working. You get exactly what it says:2 USB-A ports1 HDMI portA microSD slotA regular SD slotA USB-C port (without power, so it's only useful for data transfer.)It's kind of annoying to have all the wires hanging around on my desk, I'd prefer to have a hub that hides them. Because there aren't enough USB ports on this I also have to plug in an additional USB hub. Also, there's no way to stop it from charging my laptop while I'm using it. This is annoying because my laptop tends to get hot while charging. But overall it's a good dockThe stand is fairly high quality. I'll likely just buy a replacement dock and keep using this as an extremely overpriced stand. Alas.

Just an okay stand. Not a good hub
I returned it within an hour. It would not charge my laptop and the stand is shaky. There are much less expensive stands that work great. I have one of them, so I'll be buying another stand and a standalone hub. Good theory, bad execution.

Can not connect an etherbet cable,
and the "grippers" move a little (not when the computer is on the stand)

Compact and functional
Folds up to take up very little space. Holds my 15" MacBook very well, and the plugs are convenient.Edit 12/05/2022: the cable that connects the hub to my laptop seems to have connection issues. Unfortunately the manufacturer made the terrible decision of making the cable go into the hub instead of having another USB-C plug so instead of being able to replace the cable, the whole hub is now useless. All I'm left with is an overpriced stand.

Stopped working at 5 weeks
I did like this product. It was simple, had the ports I needed. But when I powered up my laptop for work today, 3 days outside of the one month return window, my MacBook wouldn't recognize it. I tried all the trouble shooting steps mentioned on the HyperDrive website, and tried another MacBook, but the second computer didn't recognize it either. I don't know what happened or what could cause this, but don't waste your money on it.

Excellent for Travel -folds small and light / 7-in-1 hub built-in very helpful
LIKED: Excellent for Travel -folds small and light / 7-in-1 hub built-in very helpful. These are definitely product's strong points. Build quality seems good for its compact size -EXCEPT for lots of reports of hub connecting cable failure and vendor's lack of speed of a replacement... too bad.DISLIKED:1) supposed to support up to 17" but I have 15" MBAir and the legs do not expand wide enough apart to be stable all the time... when my wrists go to the edges, the laptop wobbles, almost falls off.2) No Ethernet connection -supposed to be desktop aid and I use wired ethernet when at my desk3) No Audio jack port... can't use wired headphones nor wired speakers (thank goodness laptop has that)4) Have had it 2 weeks, works great but reports of connecting cable (hardwired instead of USB-C port) FAILING after just a couple months is distressing and definitely a deal breaker5) stand only pivots back of laptop higher/up-down. The keyboard side cannot be lifted higher (so can't slide external keyboard under the unit and sometimes cannot get enough lift by only lifting the back. With my MBA15" the screen only folds back so far so continuing to pivot only the back only works for so far...

Lasted 6 months before becoming unusable
It worked great for 6 months, did exactly what it needed to do and consolidated my monitor, USB devices, and power all to one USB C plug. As the basis of my home office, I would just pull my laptop, put it on the stand, and plug in the single USB C plug. Unfortunately 6 months after purchasing I find the USB hub constantly disconnecting and reconnecting, making this unusable. I really liked it when it worked, but it wasn't built to last it seems.
