Incredible snare drum, loud but versatile
The media could not be loaded. Killer drum at this or any price, maybe the best I’ve ever owned in decades of playing. And beautiful looks, too. Loud and powerful, cracking rim shots, but also sensitive enough for soft jazzy chops and rolls. I’m using a low-mid tuning but also sounded great at both lower and higher tunings. The brass snare strands are nice quality as is the throw-off very smooth. This drum fit right in with my big-sounding 70’s Ludwigs, right out of the box. Very happy, wish I had sprung for one sooner! The attached vid is shot on iphone and it clips out a bit, but still gives you a good idea of the great sounds this drum has.

GREAT SNARE DRUM! Don’t know why I waited so long to get one. It’s extremely versatile with tuning. You can go high or low and have great tone. Beautiful sounding snare.
