Would give it a zero if possible. Figured I’d get what I paid for, just trying to get through a small project but wow is it crap. It’s about 1/2-1/3 the weight of the original (assuming that means it’s going to be louder), it was missing the exhaust gasket and the exhaust fume directional funnel on the side to vent the fumes away from the machine clutch line. The safety housing does not sit flush with the muffler exit port so the fumes funnel I took off the original will miss a good 20-40% of the exhaust that will go everywhere instead of out and away. Will prolly remove that and drill additional holes in an attempt to fix. Chinese junk!

The mount matched perfect, but the overall size it about 1/2 an inch bigger than the original one. Also I should have bought the bundle that has the down port for the exhaust so it’s not blowing into my face.

This was not welded together properly and it broke the first time it was used. I had to hire a good welder to fix it. The flange to the pipe was welded poorly and broke. I needed to use it immediately so I had it fixed instead of returning it.

The muffler had a minor defect on the spark arestor or I would have given it a 5. Its very quiet and I should have replaced my old one sooner. I think this should come with a gasket but my old one worked. My old muffler (on my pump) was 12 years old so this is a refreshing change.

Bolt holes needed some modification in order to fit my B&S engine, but I knew this before ordering. Works great .
