Q: Received mine and the sprocket is not for a bicycle chain, now I can't find just the #40 sprocket that fits this. Anyone buy a #40 for this? Where?

They have a #410 sprocket gear (1/2 inch pitch) with 8mm bore on aliexpress.

This motor along with almost any DC motor will accept a PWM signal as a way to artificially adjust input voltage. The motor will automatically draw whatever current (amps) it needs in proportion to the torque of the load applied. Make sure your PWM controller is rated for the amps you expect to draw. Peak current is found by dividing rated motor power by voltage: Amps=Watts/Volts. Adjusting input voltage will change motor speed for a given load because output power is proportional to input voltage using the same equation. If you overload a motor (stall), expect to see higher amps than it was rated for (destruction).
