Solid unit, good camera, easy to use
I got this to do a wall fish for a fiber optic cable inside a wall. It was my first time doing this DIY job. This tool makes it a lot easier since you can see inside the wall to look for any obstructions, plumbing lines, electrical cables, etc. to prevent creating more work or problems for yourself. Well worth the modest price. Was able to complete my job faster and more confidently using it. It is easy to use. Just turn it on and you can use it right away, and the manual explains the various functions well enough. Cable is flexible while still being pretty stiff and works great. Camera image is great is doesn't lag. I can see myself using it for all sorts of jobs in the future around the house and for car repairs.

Fast warranty service
I bought a DS300 in Feb. 2024. It worked very good until April 2025. It had a NO SIGNAL message when I turned it on.I emailed the company what was happening . They told me there is a two year warranty and they would send me a new one. It came a few days later and works fine.

Great if You Understand the Limitations
I bought the Depstech Dual Lens Endoscope specifically to investigate a perplexing drain clog and discovered a number of things that don't make this - or probably most endoscopes with a semi-rigid optical cable - a good choice for situations where the camera needs to negotiate a series of sharp turns:1) The optical cable is too stiff to negotiate tight bends; especially where multiple bends are involved like, traps.2) The Depstech's camera has a sharp edge at its leading edge which catches on pipe joints and any imperfections. This also exacerbates the problem with negotiating tightish turns.3) The included hook attachment - with its rounded end - would be a great way to overcome the limitations with the camera's sharp leading edge, but the metal it's made from is thin and fractures easily. An endoscope with an articulated camera would have helped solve my problem with the camera's sharp leading edge catching on things, but the semi-rigid cable would still be the limiting factor in negotiating tight bends or multiple bends.Based on my experience then, I wouldn't recommend this Depstech endoscope - or any endoscope with a semi-rigid optical cable - for use in pipes/ducts/hoses where tight or multiple bends need to be negotiated. For straight runs or runs where maybe only one bend needs to be negotiated, you'd probably be fine.I did end-up using the endoscope to investigate the layout of my plumbing inside the wall, and it was great for this, so into the closet it'll go awaiting its next (appropriate) assignment.Otherwise, the Depstech endoscope seems well made. I didn't exactly baby it trying to run it down my pipes and other than the fragile hook attachment it came away unscathed. The Depstech endoscope came to me fully charged with a decent set of printed instructions. After a quick formatting of the included memory card, it was ready to use. Battery life also seemed good.So not great for what I initially intended to use it for, but I'm sure I'll find more uses for in the future.

Works fine for exactly the length of the product warranty.
Scope worked well for exactly 24 months (the length of the product warranty, but right on cue on month 25 stopped charging/did not turn on. If you’re comfortable replacing every two years and feel ~$40 per year is reasonable, this will work for you. Personally this seems wasteful so I will be investing in something with more longevity this time around.
