Young's Literal Translation (YLT) Bible: Complete Old and New Testament

The Literal Word of God is Amazing
This is the Bible & translation you want, with one requirement... Get Bible index tabs. You'll be lost and struggle to find passages without them.Strangely I have not found YLT Bibles with common page references. Meaning that the top of page book heading isn't there. The books of the Bible just flow right into another with just a paragraph break. For example, if one wants to turn to the book of Psalms, one has to look inside the paragraphs to find what book is on the page -no headings at the top. Once index tabs are applied, it's no big deal. This Bible is also full letter page size -another strange thing. But after using, I do like it. The scripture pages are divided into three columns which makes it easy to follow verses when reading. The print is a little small but not too much. The cover is paperback but has a nice look and feel. I like the colors. By the way, why no "look inside" view options on Amazon? I felt like it was a blind purchase but I'm glad I ordered it. It was the most recent print date that I could find for a YLT Bible. This book was not stocked at the local Christian book store. The store rep told me no one buys Young's version so they don't carry it. What a shame! How about a little promotion? Every Christian home and disciple needs this translation.Lots of other translations are good but the reason you will want this translation is that it is the most literal from the original languages. The Holy Spirit wrote the words and you get to read them in the exact order as much as English will allow. Other translations will imply or lead you incorrectly if you don't compare them to a YLT. Reading this Bible will draw you closer to God... To read and know His words so intimately as if He is whispering them to you directly. It's amazing, you will love it!

This YLT is Easy to Read
Unlike the other YLT I bought via Amazon recently which is an edition that Scholars might prefer but this is better for easy reading. For reviewing the YLT itself, it a resource I recommend but isn't perfect. Those of who believe in Universal Salvation like how it handled the Aionios/Aionion verses at their Old Testament equivalents. However it didn't provide the same critical analysis to for example the Homsoexuality Clobber Passages, translating Arsenekoites as Sodomites I no where near Literal.People who are KJV onlists, or more so people who prefer the KJV because of the Source Texts it uses. The YLT does use the same Sources as the KJV, unlike more modern Translation that sell themselves as hyper Literal. The Masoretic for the Hebrew and Textus Receptus for the Greek. The KJV is NOT as strictly based on those as KJV onlists claim, the KJV does have clear Septuagint and Vulgate influence. The YLT can be read for free Online. But I often like to read The Bible the Old Fashioned way so I consider buying this physical copy worth it.

Strange chapter headings...
The chapter headings are at the bottom of the page but now that I am used to it it really works well for me. Some typos as far as missing spaces between words but the content is all there and it lays nicely in the lap for reading. The binding is holding up well and it is almost in daily use. I would recommend it.

This is the newer version
I like the Young's Literal Translation. The first one I bought did not identify the chapters clearly and used Roman numerals instead of Arabic numbers. This one clearly shows the book and chapter identifications. Otherwise, it is the same literal translation. I love it and bought more copies for other people.

Poor formatting and typos
I wish I had read the bad reviews before ordering. It is true there is a typo in one of the verses in Matthew. I didn't look for more. The format is terrible. There is almost no margin at the top. There is a large margin at the bottom, and all the book headings are at the bottom of the pages.
