This was easy to use, its compact and the camera viewer turns around so you can watch yourself if youre recording. My 10 year old son has never held a camcorder or seen one and he knew exactly how to use it. He records his action figures and he has a ton of videos already where hes making movies with his characters. The videos are clear and it also has really clear sound. Its definitely for a beginner.

The media could not be loaded. Compared to a similarly priced camcorder, this is a decent quality camera. Obviously it is only $40 so it can only be so good. But I would recommend it if you're looking for a cheap camcorder.- Decent video quality (including 1080p @ 60fps)- Zoom is alright (digital zoom)- Decent in low light- Light on the front is brightI can't speak to the battery life yet.Edit: we used them at our wedding so we could have some "home video" style footage. They turned out great and have been fun to watch. The battery lasted fine.

Bought this for my son in Nov and gave it to him for Christmas eve. 24 hours later, the battery would not take a charge and it would not turn on. I filed the return on Christmas day, and got the replacement a week later. After 1 use, the new camera would not take a charge. It only turns on when plugged in.This was the highlight present he loved the most, but after months of trying to get it to work, its just wasted money. No ability to return and ask for a 3rd one. Whats the point?

Freezes often and won’t turn off. We have to take the battery out often to reset.

Easy to use and my granddaughter absolutely loves it. Small and compact.. recommend.. nice for the price.. takes really nice pics and videos!

This camera really does not produce very good quality videos. They are grainy and the focus is weird. The audio quality is pretty awful. I filmed indoors in my living room with the camera about 3-4 feet away from me and playing it back on my computer, I had to turn the volume all the way up and could still barely hear it. It reminds me of the cheap camera I had as a kid.

We have owned this camera for a year and a half. The quality is amazing battery life is incredible. I contacted customer service 1.5 years after purchase (we lost the charging cord) and they were beyond accommodating. My kids have had so much fun with this video camera and it is far superior than I ever anticipated. I highly recommend this brand!
