LEGO Chima Eris Eagle Interceptor (70003)

The media could not be loaded. I had just finished building and was in the middle of reviewing Equilla's Ultra Striker which is the eagles tank (which is awesome!) when the UPS guy delivered this gem to me. So as you now know I have gone Chima crazy. This is the second in the series that I have now. Anyway I chose this because I loved the idea of an eagle shaped jet. And man even after watching videos of this awesome toy I think it's even more spectacular now that it's here perched in my hand. It's a very pretty thing to look at. The designer is a genius. We get the usual Lego craftmanship in that this bird stays together very well. The only negative thing I do have to say is that I am not too crazy about how the head is attached to the body. I just think it would have been better on a ball joint of some sorts but what we get here does work. Check out my video and you'll see what I mean. I'll show everything you can do with it the best I can. Anyway I'll let the vid do the talking and just end this review with a thumbs up. As in get it. Get it now. I'm eyeballing the wolf vehicle (Wakz Pack Tracker) now...mmm looks like a wolves head...Well, on with the craziness.

I am an 8 year old boy and I bought this Lego set with a gift card I received for Christmas. I LOVE it! It's a lot of fun. It's easy to put together. It comes with Eris, Razar and Rizzo. The head where the figure sits can come off and fly n it's own. It also has two torpedoes. It also comes with a falcon ship that's also really cool. Also, the back of the falcon can open to be a little prison. The claws also can grab things. If you buy this you will surely have fun with it.

Not cheap but has provided endless hours of play for my 9 year-old son. Just make sure your kid has the ability and patience to construct this. If not, he'll just get frustrated and pissed off. Or make your butler/house servant/personal assistant assemble this complex kit. And give them a nice bonus!

My kids love Legos. They never cease to amaze me at the things they come up with. I just happened to come across this before Christmas - it was an Amazon special and I am so glad I purchased it because a) it ended up being a really great deal and b) of course, my 10 year old son loves it. He really likes the Chima series and this eagle looks so cool put together. Legos are so expensive and it was nice to know my money was not wasted on this set at all.

Given as a gift to my grandson, he loves Lego sets and has many, many them. Great product for children.

My son loves Legos, and there's not really much to say. They all take time to put together and this one has stayed together pretty well without a ton of it falling apart as he plays with it. Didn't take longer than any other comparable sized set to put together.

The product was delivered on time as promised by the seller. I bought this for my 9 year old nephew's birthday. He said "I don't have this one. This is great!" He was excited, that's all that mattered. Although he has no problem putting together a 1,000 piece lego set, I gave him the Chima Eris Eagle Interceptor which only has 363 pieces. I wish Lego's weren't so expensive, otherwise I would have gotten him one that was more challenging. It's a cool set, and he's happy.

The packaging box was undamaged, but the LEGO box was undamaged. It seems to have been damaged before shipping.
