Easy to use and good flame effect, but only bright enough for small displays - but it works great on those.

The first one I received the controller became too hot to touch after about 15 seconds after connecting to the battery, and took at least 30 minutes to cool back down - VERY DANGEROUS!! Therefore, my initial rating was ZERO stars.I found it odd that I could request a new one, but there was not an option to state why I wanted to exchange the defective unit for a new one.I was very pleased that the replacement arrived the next day. When I tried it out, the new controller stays cool and works well. 5 stars for the customer service. Can't rate the entire transaction 5 stars due to the initial defect. Now, the tough part will be to see if it works for the creation that I have in mind.

The media could not be loaded. these light have worked for years. I use them as amber lights along with a fire bulb and a colored light diffuser to look like smoke. If these ever burn out I would definitely buy them again

Thought was to simulate fire for fire drills at work. It does do what it says, but only in a small area (approx 1'x1').

Purchased for a Halloween decoration. The lights give a nice flickering effect, especially if you conceal them behind something. The only issue I had was there is no a/c adapter offered with the item. The seller doesn’t even offer one on their website. They do tell you what type to buy, but including one in the initial purchase would have made more sense, even if it cost a few dollars more.

Price was ok, it come in 3 pieces. I like the different setting options, speeds can be changed. It is a little bulky then I would've like and it requires to big of a battery 9V. Other then that it did the job for my Anime figure flame animation.

Fantastic product! I was a little unsure of how these would work with the lack of product reviews, but it was a more cost-effective option than some similar items. I purchased this set of lights to add to the flame effect for my son's Ghost Rider Costume. I'll let the pic speak for itself, but these far exceeded my hopes for this product! The flickering action was perfect, 100% spot on. A great option for cosplayers!
