DeWalt DT9531QZ 8 x 260mm Extreme 2 SDS-Plus Drill Bit

I like the centring point at the tip of the De Walt drill tip as it really helped to centre the bit in the correct premarked place accurately.As for the drilling action - lordy! Paired with my Bosch corded sds drill ( a beast!), the carefully engineered rifling of the drill bit created neat holes in the wall for appropriately sized raw bolts in very quick time, making it a joy to use. Heartily recommended, and a steal for the price I reckon!

I bought this drill bit to drill through roughcast house brick which had already wrecked 2 drill bits. This bit made short work of drilling 8 holes and looked unused afterwards. Great quality product.

I've put this drill bit to good use over the last year and it's still going strong. Goes through brick and stone with ease and it's nice and long, so if you're screwing a thick piece of timber to a wall, you can pre-drill the timber, then get it exactly lined-up by putting the masonry bit through the timber and drilling straight into the wall. I'd buy this again, but might not need to, as it's holding up very well.

I bought and returned as I actually needed an 18mm.but...first Impressions:I bought the DeWalt DT9578QZ 16 x 160mm Drill Bit for a project where I needed to install a drop bolt into concrete. DeWalt is known for quality. It’s solid, well-made, and feels heavy-duty, ready to handle tough jobs.

The bit was to be used for splitting granite rocks with plug and feathers. Had tried a few other brands of which a few did not work more than a single day. The cutting bit head comprised a single tungsten tooth which lasted considerably longer than the conventional cross head, and had a greater work level. Recommended to anyone who needs a stone drilling job done.
