Don't press hard!
These pens were great for my project! I have used several different types and brands of oil-based paint pens. These were great, however, make sure that you do not press hard to prime the pen. Other brands need you to do that quite a bit, these do not! Never press down while working on your project. Prime the pen on an old plate or something so if the pen spews out more paint, you can then dip it into the little puddle you have made to absorb more of the paint so you don't waste as much. These are great pens, great variety of green colors.

The best!
I like the variety of the greens. The pens are always reliable. Occasionally I blob the ink. Best to test before using!

POSCA pens are the best
These paint pens are the best ones I have ever used. They are bright, easy to use, and do not smear when I am painting rocks. I even let my 7year old grandson use them. He was very successful with his project.

The olive green was really dark
I love posca paint pens!!! I was working on a project that just happened to need these 4 shades of green in this pack. Unfortunately though, the olive green pen was WAY darker than the color on the cap. This was my first posca paint pen complaint ever. Typically the color on the cap is pretty close to the actual color of the paint. This particular color was too far off from the cap for me to be ok with. I was annoyed to say the least. I had to find a backup plan for the olive green. I still give it 3 stars though. These paint pens are hard to beat. Just be aware that the olive green pen in this set is much darker than the cap suggests. If you are ok with that, these pens are a solid choice.

I love these pens!
I absolutely love these pens. Only downside is I wish they had more colors. These are the industry standard for paint pens. The vast majority of my favorite paint pen artists use this brand. Take a look around some art on Instagram and you will see just how many great artists trust the quality of Posca.

I'll stick with another brand next time.
I'm not finished yet, so it's still a little sloppy. Generally great coverage and vivid colors, except for the moss colored pen. It has major dewetting and adhesion issues. It'll apply just fine, but starts to separate as it dries. So I've ended up with a portion of my project that flaked off horribly within two days with absolutely no exposure or contact...just popped off. The others are fine. Also, it seems that this paint takes much longer to cure than other brands I have. It'll be dry to the touch within hours, but really needs to sit for about 2 days otherwise it'll wipe off. It's kind of powdery once it dries as well, so I'm pretty skeptical about the durability of this paint. If I could start over, I'd stick with oil based paint pens. Or maybe try a different brand.
