Color:White The dream catcher originated with the Ojibwe people and then used by the Cree people, which was also adopted by Indians and other indigenous people. They believe that night is full of both good and bad dreams. So the mothers and grandmothers weave dream catchers for the children, whose purpose is apotropaic. When a dream catcher is hung above the place where you sleep it moves freely in the night air and catches the dreams as they drift by. The good dreams, knowing their way, pass through the opening in the center of the webbing while the bad dreams, not knowing the way, are caught in the webbing and destroyed at the first light of the morning sun. Even though the designs and legends of dream catchers differ slightly, the underlying meaning and symbolism is universal and is carried across cultures and language barriers. The shape of the dream catcher is a circle because it represents the circle of life and how forces like the sun and moon travel each day and night across the sky. The feathers act as a fluffy, pillow-like ladder allowing them to gently descend upon the sleeping person undisturbed. The dream catcher can also pass whispered prophecy and specialized philosophy from the god to child. When talking about your troubles with the dream catcher, the trouble will float out the window with feathers. A warm and sweet night can be created with this LED light for you, and it will always accompany you into a sound and sweet dream. Follow your heart and pursue what you really prefer. Everybody dreams! Notes for the LED lights:1. Please do not bend the lamp line repeatedly at the same point2. Children must be accompanied by adults when using LED lights.3. The power connection is not waterproofed.4. It is strongly recommended that do not to continuously use it for more than 48 hoursThe color of the item may have a slight chromatic aberration due to the differences in light and display.

Gorgeous and fun to assemble!
When I opened the package, I didn’t realize it was partly a DIY craft! Didn’t read the details closely enough when I bought it - I just liked the picture. I had so much fun with it!The dreamcatcher itself comes pre-assembled with white feathers only, the stone in the middle, and a hanging loop, but it includes a separate flexible branch of artificial cherry blossoms, 5 pink and 5 seafoam-green feathers, an adhesive wall hook, lots of fishing line, a regular sized hot glue gun stick, and a long wire of twinkly lights that connect to a USB outlet with 8 light settings. It’s a little annoying to have to press the button 8 times to get the lights to just be ON without flashing or dimming - it’s the last setting. Oh well.Let me add: it comes in a glorious high-quality tote bag! Great for carrying books or using as a decoration in itself.I didn’t use any adhesive or hot glue. I trimmed the branch to my liking and wove it into the dreamcatcher strings. Then I found some sequined string to tie some of the colored feathers on. Finally, I wove the lights around randomly (took a while to shape the wire just right) and hung the dreamcatcher on a Command hook. The included wall hook does not have strong enough adhesive for drywall. It’s SO beautiful. My picture makes the colors look more vivid than they are because I have a yellow-toned bedroom lamp. My wall is steely blue and the dreamcatcher colors are more pastel.LOVE this purchase. So peaceful and calming to look at.
