Chemically identical to "Ulcetrol" by Now Foods.
For some inexplicable reason, "Now Foods" cancelled their EXTREMELY USEFUL supplement "Ulcetrol", which greatly helps us gastritis sufferers. "GI Guard AM" is the same exact formula as "Ulcetrol", only sold for double the price. The pricing is unfortunate, but it's the only way we can get "Ulcetrol" now.

No adverse effects, although couldn't determine any advantages for me personally
Used it for a few months to help reduce acid, didn't have much success, although I don't believe that to be a problem with the manufacturer. Might work for your situations better, so worth a shot if your interested in trying pepsin to help strengthen stomach lining

My Naturopath recommended this for use after healing from my ulcer. It works great, and the cost is much less than some other digestive aids.
