Best tire tread gauge I’ve bought
I’ve bought a couple of gauges to measure the tread depth of the tires on customer vehicles and makes my job go quick on the inspection.

Became wildly inaccurate after 3 years of infrequent use
It worked OK for 3 years and when I just went to use it again, it was over an inch off. A new battery (tested at 100% charge) didn't help. It used infrequently, never dropped, and kept in a pouch away from anything that could hit it. When it did work, the tiny 32nds fraction was not the easiest to see. I replaced it with a dial gauge that's smaller so can get in tight spaces and is also easier to read.

It is too big for when tire is on car
It is too big to get under finder to check tire on car and the break down on 32 is not sometime what I am looking for

Work Made Easy
The gauge arrived in good time.The only down side I have experienced is that a little dust or gritgets on the slider and it's hard to move, otherwise I'm please with the product.

Does what it says
It does what it says but it has to be set up each time it is turned on. An extra step that becomes annoying over time. Also the battery wouldn’t stay in.
