Not bad, but not as good as I hoped
This grill brush promised to be everything I hoped for - sturdy, easy to clean, and safer than wire bristle brushes. Unfortunately it isn't quite as good as I'd hoped. It is very sturdy and well-made and looks like it will last a long time. I've used it about 10 times this summer so far and I don't see any deterioration. It is also very easy to clean. I usually just rinse it off with the sink sprayer and let it air dry and it comes clean every time. But where this falls down is on how well it cleans my grill. I have a Weber gas grill with ceramic grates - the slats on the grates are about 3/4" wide - and this brush just doesn't really work that well at getting the grates clean. Maybe if you have the stainless wire-style grates with much thinner slats it would work better, but for the ceramic grates I have to kind of rotate the brush head about 1/8 of the way around so that the wire rings on the brush scrape along the grates. That works OK, but it still leaves some cooking residue behind. I have to use a grill pad to get the grates fully clean. So although I want to really like this brush, it just isn't quite the right one for me.UPDATE after 1 year, this brush is still sturdy and strong, but still doesn't clean the grill any better. I have also noticed that several of the wire loops have broken so I guess this may not be all that much better than a traditional wire brush. And, due to the design of the scraper, I can't get all the way to the back of the grill since the scraper sticks out about 1/2 inch or a little more and hits the back of the grill preventing the wire loops from reaching all the way to the back. I grill 2-3 times a week on average from April-October so it does get a workout, as I use it after every grill session. I have decided I'm too frustrated with it to keep using it, and I'm going back to a more traditional bristle grill brush. I used one for many years without ever having a problem with broken bristles in my food, so I think a little careful inspection before putting food on the grill should continue to prevent any dangerous issues.

The Best
Works very well, don’t have to worry about bristles in our food. Gets down between the grate to remove the charred on BBQ sauce and stuff. We love it! Remember, this works best when you wet the brush and use it on hot grill. This helps loosen up the charred on bits!

No one likes wire bristles in their food.
I have two Weber charcoal grills which have the cylinder shaped grills. I think if you wanted to return your grill to out of the box clean, then I don’t know of any brush that can do that. I think some elbow grease, steel wool, and a heavy degreaser would. However, I think this can come close enough. As a comparison, my other tool is the wood paddle where the grooves have been “burned in”. Basically you’re looking to scrape off burned stuff so you don’t transfer that to the food you’re cooking (and definitely not any bristle pieces), and also a clean grill prevents food sticking (as does meats that have been out at room temp for about 30 mins). The wood paddle gets the surface well but until I really burn in the grooves, it doesn’t get far between the grills. The Cook Time brush seems to get a little deeper. How I clean the grill is get a very hot fire going and essentially burn all the caked on grease or sauce (granted I rarely have a sauce or marinade). You know it’s hot when it fire gets up onto the grill and the grease/sauce liquifies and then puffs up and dries to a crisp. Then while hot, scrape small sections at a time. Essentially, you’re scraping off the charred remains which is easier than sticky grease/sauce. I went on the utube and found videos of other similar brushes and having a pan of water to rinse out the brush seems to be a good trick as well. Clean up was pretty easy. Got a fresh pan of water and swirled it around, then used my sink sprayer and sprayed out the pieces of char. Longevity is still tbd. I could see the wires breaking over time (or not depending on how hard I scrub), but at least the probability of a small bristle wire or two, getting into your food is much less bc it appears it’s one long coiled wire. I’ll probably update the review for longevity at the end of bbq season.

Doesn't shed metal
This is a decent cleaning brush. It is well made and sturdy. It has the solid scraper on one side, which is handy. The other side is a series of metal loops. The general idea is that this design doesn't shed dangerous metal shards like a more traditional brush. So far, this has been effective in not shedding metal (though, to be sure, even new traditional brushes don't shed). Time will tell if this works as the brush gets older. The downside of this design is that it is harder to get in-between the grill grates for cleaning. You can do it, but it takes some more effort, tilting of the brush, etc. I wish it were a little better at cleaning, TBH, but it's worth it IF it continues to work safely as it ages.

Great brush
This thing is huge. It is a great alternative to the normal bristle brushes. It cleans the grill well and I would recommend it.

It actually worked.
I received this brush today, I didn’t think it would work as good as a traditional grill brush but to my surprise it did a pretty good job. It removed debris from a cold grill caked with soot and burned on grease form chicken I cooked the night before. I have small children to feed so this brush will put my mind at ease knowing that they won’t be at risk of ingesting tiny metal needles. I guess I’ll have to re purpose all those old grill brushes as backscratchers or something.

thought I'd try this, disappointed...
Given the recent cancel culture towards wire grill brushes, I thought I'd give this a try.An utter disappointment. I have stainless rod grates and it takes so much effort to clean. It works, but a good wire brush is better. I won't use a wire brush anymore because the overall quality of just about everything now (especially if sold here) is so poor, it's be an almost guarantee that you'd be shedding bristles.
