I am very happy with this lamp. I used a soft white LED bulb with it and the shade helps diffuse the harshness of the light. I like my lamps to be used as accent (almost like candle light). Even though this purchase is for my office desk, I still prefer the softer light because I am more comfortable studying that way and my eyes don't fatigue or strain as much. The photo isn't the best quality but I had turned off the main room light and switched on the lamp and it gave the entire room the perfect amount of light. So far the USB ports work great. I didn't necessarily want to spend $30 on it and it took me months until I pulled the trigger, but again I'm happy I did. The wood base is beautiful and heavy. I chose the circle design because I have a petite desk which has an even more shallow top ledge/shelf. When I saw this item I knew right away it would fit on the shelf and I wouldn't have to worry about a shade that widened towards the bottom. Those shade designs cause you to move the base even further from the wall to accommodate for a shade width with a wider bottom. You don't have to worry about that with this lamp. I should have bought two and am now thinking I will.The 2nd photo was the first I took and then realized it didn't truly show the brightness of the lamp so I adjusted my camera for exposure to give it some justice to my explanation of how bright it actually was in the entire room.

I seriously love these lamps! They are perfect for any bedroom. They offer the right about of light and charge multiple items at the same time. They do not get too hot if left on for extended periods of time in my experience. I would honestly by these again and again if they end up not lasting, but so far so good.**Update: still love the look and usefulness of this lamp. I’ve noticed that it is unable to adequately charge 2 smart devices at the same time so really this just needs one port honestly. It will start to triggering one of the devices from charging to not charging constantly if you try to use both USB ports. I had to buy other charging station items to be able to charge all my apple products but, I still love it as a charging/bedside nightstand lamp. Would buy again!

Great bedside lamp. Bought with Hansang A15 LED Bulb Light 6 Watt from Amazon. Great combination. Light output good. Fixture easy to dust. Compact and has USB port. Overall a great deal and find. On both items

Simple, bright, and useful.It has a small switch along the cable (on/off) that’s optional to use, it’s not too space consuming, and the two USB ports are extremely convenient.Overall good purchase for a simple bedroom. Might get another later on.

This is a cute lamp. I ordered it to solve a charging issue. We had no chargers nearby in our living room and created a safety issue with long charging cables draped over furniture and walk ways. This was the perfect solution. It sits on my end table allowing close access to charging. There is one issue. You cannot charge 2 devices at the same time. When you plug in 2 it disconnects and reconnects constantly. This really defeats the purpose of having 2 charging ports.Overall, I really like this lamp a lotAnd yes, we can safely charge our devices now. One. At. A. Time.

Ordered for guest bedroom because of USB ports. Allows guests easy way to keep electronics charged. Well packaged, adequate light and not too large on nightstands. For the money - well made.
