Great set of bolts and washers

Flimsy Box
The screws and nuts themselves are OK. They are slightly smaller than the metric sizes they purport to be. The M3 and M4 screws are loose in a standard M3 and M4 nut and the M3 and M4 nuts are slightly tight on a standard M3 or M4 bolt. However an M3 nut from this set fits perfectly on an M3 screw from this set and the same for M4.When this kit arrived the plastic box containing the screws and nuts was smashed all along the hinge side. The box is made of very flimsy and brittle plastic. The contents of the kit were all in small polythene bags so the demise of the box was not a disaster but it did mean that I had to provide another multi compartment plastic box for them.The nuts, washers and screws of this kit are steel but painted with black enamel and they come coated in oil. They can be picked up with a magnet so they are mild steel rather than stainless. I imagine they will rust if the black enamel is chipped.These screws, washers and nuts are not high quality but will sufice for light duty and hobbyist applications.
