Just what I needed
Great price and fast shipping. Purchased this battery for my alarm pad. Takes about 6 to 7 hours to charge.Time will tell how long it will last. Right now I am happy with my purchase.

Works well with Monotornics Lynx alarm
My old alarm kept beeping because the old batteries would no longer hold a charge. This is a perfect replacement. No more beeping.

Worked perfectly, but did NOT fit unit that old battery came out of..
Replaced a Red SAFT 7.2v NiCD battery pack. Plug is identical, but this battery pack was thicker by 3mm, and wider by around 5mm. This did not allow retaining clamp to seat, nor for cover to snap back on. I imagine the 600mah NiCD pack would be slightly smaller than a 2200mah nimh pack, but these are advertised as direct replacements. Esp considering theyre all supposedly built with AA batteries.I ordered a different model battery from same brand with lower mah rating and a ni-cd chemistry to see if that one will fit.Battery seemed top notch, but buyer beware these are not direct replacement fit in older units that had ni-cd battery packs and no spare room in holder

Not a good replacement
Do not but this item. I replaced the battery in my Honeywell alarm system and the battery lasted two months. I had to buy the battery from ADT.

Only lasted 20 months
Battery fit perfectly in an Ademco Lynx panel, but after only 20 months I'm getting a low battery warning. Should have lasted longer than that. The battery that came with the panel when new lasted about 10 years before dying.

HQRP Ademco Honeywell Lynx Replacment Battery
HQRP's Ademco Honeywell Lynx Replacment Battery uses NiMH (nickel metal hydride) battery technology vs. the original equipment NiCAD (nickel-cadmium).NiMH chemistry cells purport to offer greater power density than NiCAD cells in equivalent sized battery packages, endure more charge/discharge cycles, don't suffer from "memory effect" and they don't contain the heavy metal cadmium. So, by my thinking, using a NiMH battery would offer a longer run time of the alarm system during a power failure than a NiCAD battery pack would. The packaging on the battery I received indicates it offers 2x the power reserve that the OEM battery I replaced offers; 2200 vs 1100mAh at 7.2 volts. Time will tell if my hypothesis is correct. The HQRP product was an exact fit for the original battery pack. It appears to be well constructed. The 3 pin connector fit properly and securely. HQRP's shipment arrived on time and the item was well packaged.Recommended.
