BaggalliniOvernight Expandable Laptop Tote - Lightweight Travel Bag for Women

Lightweight, well-organized bag
This is a good-looking bag; it's lightweight and I like the shape. Using the substantial trolley sleeve, it sits nicely on top of my 22" checked bag for airport and subway travel. I purchased it for use as a carry-on for a future three-month trip to Europe. I wanted solid black, but selected the black cheetah print since it was $50 cheaper (this was a good call – the print is very subtle and reads solid black). I plan to pack the bag with my 10" tablet, charging cables and plug converters, a change of clothes, medications and other items I am not comfortable placing in my checked bag. Everything should fit nicely. I'm 5'11'', so the long shoulder straps work well for me. Like other reviewers have pointed out, the bag is somewhat unstructured - meaning, it doesn't have a solid bottom (makes sense, since the bag can be expanded via a zipper on the outside of the bag. I don't plan on using the crossbody strap; as others have pointed out, it's not padded and would likely be uncomfortable if the bag has any weight to it once packed. It would be easy to utilize another strap in its place. I was pleasantly surprised at the well thought out organization of the bag: there's a medium-sized zippered pocket on the front, and a larger zippered pocket behind that. The trolley sleeve has a small, zippered pocket that can be utilized whether or not you're using the trolley sleeve. There is also an open pocket on the back of the bag secured with a single snap. Inside the bag, there is a large zippered pocket and an open pocket next to the laptop sleeve. While I don't plan to take my laptop on this trip, I found that my 15" Dell laptop fits inside this sleeve with a little room to spare. The velcro strap that secures the laptop is too long. The removable wristlet is a nice touch and can be attached to the inside of one of the outside zippered pockets for security. The Baggallini site says it will fit most plus-sized cell phones; I did not find this to be the case. Overall, I’m pleased with the bag but will submit an update once I’ve used it while traveling.

One of the best ravel bags for laptop and other essentials that I have tried
I ordered 3 different brands to assess for my travel needs and this bag, while most expensive, ticks all the boxes. Lightweight, good laptop padding, lots of inner pocket and zippers compartments organize "stuff: of which I pack a lot! Even when "stuffed" I was able to store under the seat given the soft side design. The attached handles are fairly wide and comfortable length so i don't imagine having to use the eclosed shoulder strap (often awkward to manage as I am petite). Went with black but think there is an opportunity for more fashion prints

Practical AND Looks good!
This bag has really good divisions inside the main chamber, which also expands to a satisfying 6+ inches at the base. Lots of room to stash things. Outside, there's a nice mix of zipped and open pockets, and tops are reinforced so nothing gapes. There's an RFID safe pouch as well - it lives in a bigger zipped pocket that seemed the logical place for toiletries so it was in the way a little. First time using the bag, so I found myself searching a lot because there are more pockets than most bags (luxury!). The fabric has a very nice feel too, and the color is a really rich blue. This is my go to now

Not a beauty but exceptionally well-organized
I tried several bags looking for the perfect travel tote under $250 and this one is ultimately the winner.PROS: There are so many details that this bag gets right. I love that there are handles as well a shoulder strap. It's such an important detail for moving handsfree in the airport, especially with a heavy laptop. Great pocket placement inside and outside --for example, the large exterior pocket for quick handling of passport, tickets, phone. I LOVE that it has an expansion zipper along the bottom --turning the bag from a briefcase to a weekend bag. Good cushion for laptop placement. My 13" has lots of room to spare. The only minor things it's missing are a dedicated water bottle pocket and the ability to convert into a backpack (some of the other Baggalini bags have this).CONS: Compared to all the others I considered, this one gets the lowest marks on structure and quality. The fabric is drab and the bag is pretty floppy. The more expensive competitors like Tumi, Briggs & Riley, and Delsey do much better in this regard with thicker, waterproof fabric and insulation that gives their bags some shape. Reading the reviews, I suspect this bag won't hold up to longtime use but for now, it's the only bag I was able to find that has all the features I need.

Love this Bag Perfect for Overnight or a Weekend
Quality like old Baggallini bags. Beautiful color, lightweight, fits perfectly over suitcase handle, expands via zipper that runs from top of bag down to bottom, across & fully up the other side making this the perfect bag for an overnight or quick weekends to visit my mom. Enough room to slip in an iPad, phone, a good book, extra pair of sandals & one outfit allowing use as my one personal item on budget airlines that nickle & dime for bags. Like many BAGGALINNI BAGS it includes a small wristlet & slots for credit cards, cash & small toiletries. Space for reading material & an expandable umbrella = all of the necessities. My new personal item for flights and roadtrips. Unexpanded, perfect size to fit at my fit.

Holds everything
I LOVE Baggallini bags. I have quite a few of them in various sizes. MacBook fits in padded compartment with room for a tablet & so much more. This is so spacious & you can unzip to make it deeper. I have used it for a weekender. Perfect as a "personal bag" when flying. I especially appreciate the little zipper compartment they've added to the "go over the handle on luggage" thing. No wasted space :)

Immediate Return
Received bag with no tags or packaging materials, and clearly used. The stitching in the handle was ripped. Immediately returned. So disappointed in the quality, considering the price of the bag.

Quality work bag
This is a high quality work tote bag that is perfect for carrying a laptop and has plenty of internal space for other items such as chargers, a water bottle and other small items. It has a sturdy base and the handles are very comfortable on the shoulder. I have seen similar bags for hundreds of dollars more so the price is unbeatable. Highly recommend.

Light weight but sturdy
Using this bag to carry my chrome book. It is well designed with padding and plenty of storage for documents, passports, phone and chargers. It has a handy sleeve that you can slide over the handle of your roller luggage for easy transporting.
