This is my second purchase of oolong tea and it is best in taste and as per the qualities of oolong tea. The best part is it goes long long way as oolong tea leaves can be used more than once to make tea. Love it.

This is a nice crop of Darj Oolong tea that has that distinctive Oolong flavour native to this hilly region. It was freshly packed with crisp and dry leaves. At this price point, it was well priced with quick delivery.Now on to the tea itself - it was a good blend with that distinct Oolong flavour that all Oolong lovers have come to enjoy over the years; a flavour that is unique and one can only get from tea grown in the hills of Darjeeling. It was fresh and did not have any dampness. This helps bring out its full flavour. If steeped correctly for the right amount of time (more on that in the tip below) it makes a good cup of Oolong tea that any tea loving tea drinker will enjoy.Only wish there was a slight reduction in price to pick up a little more of this tea to sotck.TIP: To make the ideal cup of this tea, steep around 1.9 grams to 2.1 grams of the tea (ideally in a tea infuser cup) for exactly 2 mins 40 seconds (+5 or -5 secs) to get out the ideal flavour of the tea. If you want a stronger flavour steep it up to 3 minutes (but no longer) to ensure there is no bitterness in your cup. now enjoy that perfect cup of Oolong!

So I am always searching for anti ageing elixirs and my research brought me to story of Oolong Tea. This story starts off in China, where the average middle class man consumes 4 packets of cigarettes a day. Despite this high per capita consumption the cancer occurence in the Chinese population is in single digits 4-5%, whereas India has it at 14%+ range. How is this possible? Given that China also has the highest Pork [red meat]consumption in the world, 50,000 Tons of Pork per year, more than the entire world combined.The reason I found was in their culture of tea consumption, anywhere you go in China you will find hot water vessels readily available and every Chinese always carries a flask with him and Oolong tea leaves. They consume this throughout the day. The anti cancer benefits only accrue if you consume >800ml and are not obese.A cup of brewed oolong tea contains small amounts of calcium, magnesium, and potassium. It also contains about 38 mg of caffeine.Some of the main antioxidants in oolong tea, known as tea polyphenols, are theaflavins, thearubigins, and EGCG. These are responsible for many of its health benefits.Hope this helps someone detox their life. In addition to this I recommend daily Liv52, TVit D3+K2, Tulsi pills , Omega 3 and probiotics.

Definitely not for weight loss.Flavour is pretty odd. The presentation is just like other teamonk products in a black cylindrical box. I don't think it helps you in weight management although it may act as a tiny little food hunger suppressant.

Taste is nice but didn't like packaging.

I have tried Wa oolong first and it was really nice so I wanted to see the difference between Wa oolong and organic Tapas oolong.The difference is Wa oolong taste is much stronger flavour. If you like strong taste go for Wa oolong.It has strong body. (very nice. I gave 5 stars as well)Tapas oolong is there is no bitterness at all. Flavour is very gentle and subtle but feels very clean.One of my family is working in the long history tea company in Japan. He said organic tea is usually no bitterness.Creating bitterness is actually the spray chemical...Well, indeed this tea has no bitterness.Drinking even after meal doesn't cause anything bad in the stomach.Caffein tea disturbs to digest the food is known but not this tea.So I ordered 2 more now.

i use to try various teas as i stopped drinking coffee as i was serious coffee addict with 6 glasses of coffee or more , i needed caffeine related something but i tried lots of tea in the end my fav is tea monk oolong and hibiscus tea awesome i tried other brands too as tea monk is lil pricey but they dont contain tea monk richness and purity level so fan of oolong tea

They taste is bitter comparing the other brands ive tried.It doesnt work well comparing the slim life tea for weight loss
