Well built and OK for U6, but undersized for older leagues
This is the fourth set of corner flags I've ordered for a youth soccer league. This year I tried to save a little money, but in hind site, I wish I had ordered the Kwikgoal corner flags again. The Alumagoal flags are well built, but the poles are very thin (less than half the diameter) compared to the Kwikgoal poles. The thinner poles make me nervous, and I would only recommend using them for U6 leagues.

Great value
A little flimsy, but great for the money. We only use it once a week. Didn't make sense to spend more.

Broken
One of the flags was broken at the bottom. We have game tomorrow so need to use them. Main reason to order was we would have them before gametime.

Because we had to use them I didn't feel like I could ask for a return
One of the flags arrived broken but we got them the day of a game so I had to use them right then (we had one extra flag of our own that I substituted for the broken one). Because we had to use them I didn't feel like I could ask for a return. They are pretty thin and scrawny compared to our old flags. I hope they hold up.

Both easy fixes with the right
One of the welds broke on the spring. also some of the fiberglass rods were broken. Both easy fixes with the right tools

Injury issue?
My issue with these flags is the material the pole is made from. It splinters. If you are holding it and slide it in your hand, it will splinter. I actually covered the length of the pole in clear packing tape so that I won't get any more splinters.

The price is right and they work well, but ...
The price is right and they work well, but they give tiny fiberglass splinters that hurt. I'm thinking about spray painting them with a coat of enamel to prevent the splinters.
