Warnings or Restrictions Do not use if: •You are under 14 years of age •If you are using any other voltarol products, or taking oral diclofenac or other NSAID s. •You are ic to, or ever had an asthma attack, wheezing, urticaria (hives) or a runny nose after taking aspirin or other NSAID/anti-inflammatory medicine •Do not apply to cuts, wounds, sunburned skin or other areas where the skin is abnormal, or near the eyes or nasal area. Do not cover with a bandage or plaster. •Please consult your cist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or feeding. •Please consult your cist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction. •If you think you may be ic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking. •If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your cist. Product Specification Active ingredients: diclofenac diethylammonium Other ingredients: Diethylamine, carbomers, macrogol cetostearyl ether, cocoyl caprylocaprate, isopropyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, perfume creme 45 (containing benzyl benzoate), propylene glycol, purified water Size (50) Unit (G) Height (4.8) Width (16.5) Depth (3.5) Product code: 758757 Product Uses Adults and children 14 years and over: Voltarol 12 Hour Emulgel P 2.32% Gel should be rubbed gently into the skin. Depending on the size of the affected site to be treated, 2-4g should be applied 2 times a day (preferably morning and evening). The maximum daily dose is 8g. Therefore the maximum weekly dose is 56g. The gel can be used for up to 14 days under cy supervision. After application, the hands should be washed unless they are the site being treated. If symptoms do not improve by day 7, or if they worsen within the first 7 days, a consultation with a doctor is recommended. Do not use for more than 14 days unless recommended by a doctor.
