Works perfectly
I love these connectors. When you only have 2 hands and splices to make, these sure make it easy to complete the job quickly. One issue unrelated to the product. The bullet points say this fits 26-22 AWG when it only fits 26-24 AWG. I couldn't use them for this particular project but tested them on 26 AWG wire and it works just like the name brand versions I purchased from my local auto parts store. I'll keep these for future projects.

Sorcery at its best!
As I was sitting there soldering individual 26 awg wires together by hand, I thought to myself, "There has to be an easier way". That's when I found these butt connectors. I don't know what Wizard invented this sorcery, but these things are amazing on these small diameter wires. I can't complement them enough. They made my job much quicker and easier. I seriously recommend these butt connectors to anyone trying to solder small diameter wires together.

Great for splices. Hardly noticeable
These are great! My favorite thing about these is how close they are to the thickness of the wires, while maintaining a good connection. I bought the 24-26 AWG connectors, but used them on 22 AWG solid wire + 22 AWG stranded. I find this the perfect size for 22 AWG. Just big enough, and almost the same size as the wires once installed. I think I'd be disappointed if I got the next size up. These definitely work for 22 AWG, unless you want to connect 1 wire to 2 wiresI used this to connect security sensor reed switches in series, and my retrofit travels along the edges of my window and baseboard trim. That's why I wanted something that is barely noticeable. This works great. My wife didn't even know I'd run wire along our trim.On top of that, the price was basically the lowest I could find for a relatively small number of these. I just don't need a package of 500 or more, and I didn't need multiple sizes.I haven't pulled hard on these to test just how sturdy the connection is, and I haven't tested how water resistant they are. They probably would keep water out because the glue did melt all around both sides of the heat shrink, but I haven't tested.

WOW!
I needed a way to splice together RGB LED (Christmas light style) wires. Basically every time you cut and have to extend the distance between them, you have to do 6 splices. I had 15 such extensions to make, which means 90 individual splices!Mechanical crimps are unreliable, and the repetitive act of cutting/soldering/heat shrinking each time can take hours upon hours. These things saved the day by giving me a better connection than a crimp, while letting me do the work in just a few hours! You definitely need a heat gun, and it's helpful, especially in tight spaces that I was working in, to have some way to narrow the airflow so it doesn't hit other things. Instead of a heat gun, I actually used a reflow soldering iron that I have for surface mount projects. It has a 1/4" nozzle that was perfect for this. This is not a waterproof application, so I can't speak to the water-tight assertion from experience, but for the most part this looks to be an air/water tight seal.I'm blown away - these are fantastic even if they're a bit pricey (about twice the price of regular heat shrink crimp-style butt splices). The time savings and better connection is well worth it.

I wish I knew about these sooner!
These are great! As someone who constantly solders wires and realizes I forgot the heat shrink, these are a game changer. Made a couple test connections before I put them on anything, and I ripped the wire casing off without the connection letting loose. Cut another one in half to make sure the solder penetrated the wire, and it looked good. I will use these whenever I can.
