I am giving 5 stars because I knew that with Sterling Silver French hooks, you are getting thin wire. So for what I knew when I bought this, I am happy with my purchase. I make jewelry to sell and I wore a set myself with these hooks for the entire day and they gave me 0 issues. They're supposed to be flimsy so you can pinch them a little as not to fall out. If you don't understand Sterling Silver, don't buy it, otherwise, I recommend this product - it's a great deal for Sterling!

Love them as I make jewelry and they don’t break your ears out I cannot wear cheap metal and these are awesome for the price.i never got any that’s was broken ...they were packaged very well ,would definitely buy them again

Of the 50 earring hooks, 44 were usable (after gentle molding to get them back into the earring shape). The hooks are smaller and more fragile than I thought, but they get the job done.(They also shipped pretty quickly!)

I ordered these for my daughter to use when making her earrings. She loves to make her own jewelry, & they are working just as she wanted them to. A great buy!!

I have a lot of Navajo and other Native earrings and it's very hard to find anyone to fix them. Now, with a few small hand tools, I can fix them myself. What a relief!

These are a great price and work fine, but are crazy thin. On one hand its nice if something needs to be adjusted, just be super careful or you will break it!

There is an allure in the concept of a deal. And in this case... these hooks and jump rings give new concept to a "deal too good to be true." Please do not be seduced. These hooks are totally wonky and I don't believe they are sterling silver in the true sense. If you refer to the photos I've posted, you will see the degradation of one of these earring hooks...within weeks. Photo #1 show sa hook out of the bag. Photo #2 shows the item post-falling apart, also out of the bag. Photo # 3 shows the hook tarnished -- this after less that two weeks. I make jewelry for people who have metal allergies and can only wear sterling silver. Had I sent these out, my business would have been harmed. Please spare yourselves and buy the real thing. Doesn't come with backers for them. Stamped with 925 for Sterling silver. Doesn't irritate sensitive ears on those with metal allergies.
