At first I thought screws were missing, but they were just floating around the bag. Overall, it does the job, but the tension is not consistent. When pulling out thread to reverse serve and tie off a section, it rolls out hard then easy like a rolling egg. Worth the money, but next time I'm getting a mechanized unit and stiffer thread.

It's good serving material, but the bracket washers that come with it are inconsistent. Tension is very high across half of the roll, then low. Then high again. Works, but I can keep tension by hand better.

Tension is a bit finnicky to maintain, but the jig gets the job done. Satisfied.

The frame is good but the spool is crooked, lop-sided, so I can't get consistent pressure.5 stars for the frame, 1 for the spool .

The jig works. However the thread is junk! It is too thin to be functional.

Do not order this item as it does not come with the tool. I received only the string the first time and had to return it to a UPS store to have another one sent. Just received the replacement and again, NO TOOL! Just frustrating!
