I know that everyone uses sponges now to apply their foundation. But really, I think that cushions and poofs are the best way to go for certain base products. They don’t soak up a ton of your makeup causing you to waste it. And you can really press the makeup into the skin to get that second skin look. Easy to wash, and cheap enough that you can throw them away when they start to break down, without breaking the bank as well. I also like that I can easily bring them along with me and my cushion foundation for on the go touch ups. The pointed end lets you get into the little nooks and crannies that can be missed with a simple round cushion. And the colorful pad gives you a little spot of fun in such a simple tool. A word of caution, do not put these back into the clear acrylic case without rinsing them first. I used one to touch up my sunscreen and didn’t rinse it off afterwards before returning it to the case. The cushion dried to the case and the pad tore when I removed it later. I’ve never had this happen when I used my cushion foundation. But either way, I always try to at least rinse the cushion off before putting it away after that.

Nice quality puffs for makeup and powder. Good size, not too small or large.

Use with my cc cream and it blends it evenly the need for much product. Great value.

I use little puffs like this while applying my tinted sunscreen because it’s so difficult to get off my hands. Using the correct amount of sunscreen, especially when tinted, can be SOOOO messy. Lol these are perfect! Now it’s so easy to get into the tiny areas around my eyes and nose.

I bought these for a cushion foundation as replacements to swap out, but they absorb more makeup than they deposit, which is not helpful. They might be ok for some compacts, however.
