Q: Can you use pulses and dried beans etc... ie lentils barley chickpeas ?

Im afraid I wouldn't recommend this product . I used it only 3 times before returning it as it burnt each batch I tried to cook . Im still awaiting a refund and it's been 6 months so please don't ask me to endorse this product again

Q: From picture I can see a probe to switch off to prevent over boil? Can u confirm it has one? If making soya milk it needs probe becos soya will foam

Yes, it won't work if the liquid touches that probe.
