Car stopped yelling at us 10/10 would buy again.
We have an 07 Prius that freaked out and went into limp mode right after we bought it. We were quoted more than we paid for the car to fix it. We pulled it apart and found the issue was due to exactly one bad cell and some corrosion on the connections. We cleaned it up with electronic contact cleaner and a toothbrush while waiting for the 'new' cell to arrive. The battery came in reading 7.7v. We were able to swap out the damaged cell fairly easy. New cell locked right into place. After putting it back in, the car runs amazingly well. All the lights/codes have cleared and it appears to be charging/discharging as it should be.I'm glad the cell meshed right in with our pack and solved our problem. All the old cells are working awesome so hopefully it'll be awhile before it starts dying again.

Worked Great
Delivered quickly and passed a load test. It was the right module for my Gen2 battery pack. Fit right in and is working well.

Module was a total dud. HV Hybrid Parts was hard to deal with.
You CAN find good used modules from other sellers, but buyer beware! I bought 4 from HV Hybrid Parts. All tested at 7.9v or better but when installed one failed immediately and Torque Pro was all over it. I reconditioned a spare module and swapped it in the next day and it worked perfectly. Torque pro shows evidence that the 2 remaining modules from HV Hybrid Parts are working but seem to have higher internal resistance than the rest in the pack. This is not a conclusive test with Torque Pro but it suggests that the capacity is not so good.I removed the bad module and did a couple tests on it. There is no evidence that it was ever good in the first place. Classic bad cell inside. I tested the one cell from HV Hybrid Parts that was not in the car and was still good. Charge cycles showed capacities from about 3.7 AH to just over 3.8 AH. You should not be putting modules that poor in a car although they will work. When I buy used modules, I typically get 4.5 AH to 5.6 AH which is really good all things considered.I believe that HV Hybrid Parts produces or (supplies modules for) reconditioned battery packs. They use the good modules for those and sell the marginal ones to people like us. That's my theory. As for the dud? I think someone just got a bad one mixed up in there.Buying from a reputable seller means EVERYTHING. Pay careful attention to who it is.

Very Quick delivery and well packed
I ordered on Saturday and pay for Quick delivery. Received on Wednesday at home in France from US.I checked the voltage on arrival: 7,6V for first module and 7,7 for the second. I also checked internal Resistance: 0,2 Ohm, so identical to the module of my car. I just had to discharge a bit the 2 modules to fit the charge level of the other modules of my car battery. I replaced the wrong module by the new ones, and put back the battery in the car. It starts at once (note that being an Engineer in Robotics might help). So I'm very happy with the service and quality, I fully recommend HV HYBRID PARTS.

Was skepeptical
Needed one bought two just in case.. they looked great; but that can be deceiving. Put one on cycle charge came in at 1080/7500. Not good second round i got 5340/7500 and 5380/7500 third. Perfect was scared at first. Now I’m happy. These Prius NIMH batteries can be tricky to get in just cell form.. in proper condition.

Less than optimal capacity
The good? Battery module had a full charge, the correct charged voltage, and turned off the warning lights in the car it was installed in. So thats's good.Bad? I cycled this battery on my battery cycler to find the capacity of this module. This replacement cell, as it turns out, has about 20% LESS capacity than with the other modules in the Prius's 216,000 mile battery pack. Even after cycling to try to "refresh" the module to regain some lost capacity, it remained about 20% less total capacity then the others in the battery pack. This was dissapointing.Overall, it DID get rid of the warning lights and the car drives fine now, but the low capacity to me is a sign that this module was in WORSE condition when I received it than the modules that are in the car with over 200,000 miles on them. This is far from ideal to me.
