This is beautifully made from non-toxic wood and food grade water paint. The design is more unusual with different shapes and colours and numbers of holes to be stacked and encourages cognition, problem solving, counting, dexterity and shape recognition. The wood is smooth and child friendly and the colours are soft and restful. It is also nice to have an educational toy that is engaging, encourages learning and is not made from plastic. I would say it is suitable for minimum age18 months and upwards as it is too challenging for aged 1 babies.

They are all made good quality plastic, have a nice weight, no rough edges and all the mechanisms for pulling back and setting off feel smooth and strong enough.In action they go quite fast and a fair distance, my nephew and niece love them. Nephew likes pulling them back and seeing them go, my niece loves chewing them. They are incredibly robust and will easily handle rough handling by kids.I personally played with them for way too long, which makes them a winner in my book.Currently unavailable I believe they were priced around £15 which is definitely worth it.

They zip along they floor and bounce off things like bumper cars. They feel very well made, which is lucky given the speed they crash into things. My 1 and 4 year olds absolutely love playing with them.You get 6 in a box so they could be divided and put in party bags.

I am a fan of wooden toys, especially those which are educational. This set is perfect for both. I have been using this at work with a 1.5 year old and he has had so much fun with it. I am using it to teach him different shapes and colours, and will be teaching him to count with it too. This toy has so many uses in teaching kids as well as improving their dexterity.
