Tricky
It looks pretty good, mirroring. Best reasonable speed, but there will be a some lag between what's happening on the two screens. Functional enough for presentations. Hard to use or get started, because with a phone, you probably want data, but can't use mobile data at the same time as wifi on some phones, and data must be turned OFF for it to work This is bad for streaming from your phone. I hadn't needed the sound, so I can only assume about volume control or latency.

Absolutley awful. SHAME
This is just the most horrible wireless display receiver imaginable. The lag is horrible. The pixelation is gross (even when setting up the device resolution to 1080P in the web GUI). The stability is not fit for production (as it will die and reboot). I have used this device all of one hour and I AM DONE. How is it even ok for anyone to think they can sell such a poor quality component?

This is a cool gadget to give you video from anything.
I use this to broadcast phones and laptops easily to my large monitor. Setup is easy.

Good and easy to connect
I have tried several dangles before. This is the best one that I bought. It is easy to connect it with my displayers. Recommend.

Great as a Miracast receiver for screens that don't support it.
Build quality is great. The info screen (when nothing is connected) is very useful with a ton of information. I tried it with Miracast (Windows screen sharing) and it was detected and connected right away. The latency and picture quality over Miracast are both great. It's not really clear from the info screen, but you CAN connect it to infrastructure WiFi if you connect to it's SSID and go to the IP address on the info screen. The webpage that comes up is just a list of WiFi networks the device can see, and you can click on one and give it the password and it will connect. That's not really made clear from that webpage, though.Miracast was good, AirPlay was acceptable (over infrastructure WiFi) but was a little jittery.
