Very nice music box. The song plays long and is identifiable. Grandkids love it, and will play with it all year round I'm sure. Nice graphics on the box, put together well and easy to play. We've put it in the music room of our Victorian Dollhouse and it just fits.

I sent this to my daughter, because I couldn't make the trip for her birthday and I am always there. I wanted something that could make her smile...this covered that task beautifully! It is a tad larger that the other ones I looked at, check the measurements to get the size you like, which I love. It was well painted and the tune played is wonderfully off key, which adds a bit of nostalgia. It was offered at a very good price, especially since it was the larger size. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to really share Birthday Feels in a trinket that will be kept a lifetime.

This tiny music box is a real gem. It faithfully reproduces the Birthday song when the handle is turned. The sound is louder than expected. The wooden box is a bit delicate, but it would be a delightful gift for a child who loves birthdays.

The media could not be loaded. This birthday musical box is so unique, which is what I always look for when buying birthday cards for my grand children. They expect Grammy to give them something different every year for their birthday message and this certainly is a different way of the birthday message being delivered! I Like the fact that it is manually played so I think it has less opportunity for it to wear out. The detail on the wood is intricately engrained and it real wood!The reason for the four stars is that the card is not a birthday one that goes with a little box. It says wishing you the best of luck with nothing related to birthdays I felt as though it should say something about happy birthday. I will not give the card along with the birthday musical box.

This hand crank music box is made with a very lightweight wood. It is not high quality, but a good value for the cost. The outside pattern is etched on (not carved). The lid flips open to see the inside music box parts. The hand crank is very easy to operate with no resistance difficulty. I got this as a gift for my 6yo and they loved it.
