We bought this for my son along with a trailer hitch so he could move across country. We were blown away with how much room there is! I put in two giant‘s crate boxes, two tents and all his camping gear, small suitcase with clothing, and you can see in the picture there’s still room. He could’ve continued to add to it. It has very nice thick material no concerns about it being easily torn by the wind or ripped by anything put inside it. The way they cover the zippers is spot on and keeps things from getting wet. I’ve seen this on the roof of other cars. We didn’t think we would like that so we bought the trailor hitch with panels on all four sides and it fit inside it perfectly. He said it didn’t shift, or rattle and worked beautifully. They drove across the country with no problems. It came with several straps and a way to lock it. It really packs lot! I’m not sure we would like this as much if we didn’t fill it full because doing so made it so much sturdier. Bonus! It folds for easy storage when not in use! We Highly recommend this product!

Had an instillation problem. Emailed customer service. Received quick response. Even asking me to send pictures in order to figure out a solution. Rack is now installed properly, and very solid. Excellent construction. I'm very pleased.

Easy to attach rack to car, and the bag did everything we wanted. Large enough and no rain entered it. The straps flapped when we first hit the road, but we figured out how to attach them better, and no noise at all after that.

I will be using this on my new hitch mount folding cargo carrier if it is threatening rain at all or just to keep stuff clean and secure during travel. This was the tallest one I could find and technically is a couple inches too wide for the carrier base, but that actually ends up helping. I'm going to fabricate cardboard (corrugated plastic if possible) to make it more like a box, also making it easier to deal with when using (instead of it flopping around limply as you try to load/unload/zip/unzip/etc). This pic shows carrier without bag, I will get a good pic and post it later after I make my bag more rigid. It sure does look nice and is made of very thick vinyl and folds up easy and goes into a bag that is 12x14x4 inches. That's an amazing feat! Once I fabricate inner walls though, then ill have those to stow as well. More than likely, the bag and hitch carrier will on be left together and I'll just pull it all out of the hitch and put in the garage or shed (even outside) when not in use. I have yet to determine any loss in mileage. My 1st 1000 miles I got 32mpg, with hitch carrier 31mpg, add roof bars 30mpg. I probably won't lose any because I the bag is behind the vehicle, where the air is all washed out anyway. Not roof bars alone, but a roof rack or rooftop bag will hurt your mpg way more.

We've used this several times, holds so much more than expected and is very convenient. After a few uses one of the velcro strips started coming off the Bag but this is easily fixed. One drive we got into some pretty heavy rain, this caused some of our items to get wet. Luckily, I didn't chance putting anything that couldn't get wet onside the bag that time. - we will definitely continue to use and watch the forecast before loading.

Arrived quickly.I've used it on two separate long trips and it worked wonderfully with no visible damage or wear even with uneaven and bulky contents.Great large size. I was surprised at the size and capacity added with this bag -- we had extra room in the bag both trips.Sturdy zippers and velcro attachments to secure the the lip over the zipper.Six tie down clips/locations and tie downs straps included. The straps are not extremely thick/heavy duty but I found that I did not need heavy duty straps to secure the bag and the included straps worked well for us and were long enough.I was looking at other carrier bags at a much higher price point before I came across this and I am more than satisfied that this bag will suit our needs and hold together for a good long time. Happy I didn't worry about quality and pay more unnecessarily. This one has been great for our needs so far.

We bought this cargo carrier bag to use on our hitch mounted cargo carrier. We needed to free up space in the car when we take our cats on trips with us. We travel with a lot of gear and just didn't have room for the cats in the back seat. This bag looks big enough to take most of the stuff we used to pack in the back seat. That will give us plenty of room for the cats. It is made of heavy duty vinyl and the seams all appear to be welded well. It has a very nice heavy duty zipper and a zipper weather flap that is secured with strong Velcro. We have not used this in the rain, but it appears it would stay dry inside. It comes with six nylon straps to hold it to the luggage carrier. It also comes neatly packed in a storage sack. Unfortunately once we unfolded and opened the carrier bag we were unable to fold it flat enough to get it back into the storage sack. That is certainly not a reason to avoid this product, but it is a peeve of mine that manufacturers too often make storage bags that will fit a product only once, when it is packed at the factory in ideally flat conditions and never again once you start using the product.

Used this for a week, it rained once and it rusted all over! And got rust on my car. It’s a shame because it looked great on my car. I returned it and will go with a different brand hopefully with better results.
