A Powerhouse for Modern Devices!
I picked up the Anker Prime Charging Station because I needed something with more capacity, especially one that could handle both USB charging and AC plug-in devices. This unit delivers on both fronts with a sleek, well-engineered design and seriously capable specs. It features four USB-C ports right up front, which is fantastic for modern charging needs, and it also includes two USB-A ports discreetly positioned on the right side, which is perfect for legacy devices. On top, you'll find two AC outlets that can be individually actuated with a dedicated power button. There's also a side-mounted button that toggles the display view, giving you real-time status at a glance. Anker offers a $200,000 connected equipment warranty, which tells me they are confident in their product’s protection and reliability. The charging station itself feels solid and well-constructed. The AC adapter is a bit bulky, but that’s understandable given the power this station can support as it's built to handle multiple high-demand devices simultaneously. This is the kind of product I trust with my laptop, battery packs, and phones, especially in situations where power stability is a concern. While Anker notes this isn’t meant for travel, I’ve still brought it along on personal and work trips when I’ve wanted the security and convenience of one charging hub. It’s not ultra-portable, but it’s powerful, safe, and incredibly useful. Highly recommended.

Powerhouse Charging Station — Fast, Smart, and Super Convenient!
The Anker Prime 240W 8-in-1 Charging Station is an absolute game changer! I’ve used a lot of chargers over the years, but this one blows them all away. It’s compact, sleek, and incredibly powerful — easily charges my laptop, phone, tablet, and earbuds all at once without breaking a sweat. The build quality is top-notch (as always with Anker), and the intelligent power distribution is amazing — everything charges quickly and safely. I especially love the mix of USB-C, USB-A, and AC outlets, which makes it perfect for both home and travel setups. The digital display showing real-time power output is a really nice touch too. It’s replaced multiple adapters and power strips on my desk, making everything cleaner and more efficient. If you’re looking for one charger to rule them all, this is it. Anker nailed it again — worth every penny!

A Power Block That Doesn’t Make Your Desk Look Like a Science Experiment
The Anker Prime 240W station is one of those desk accessories that quietly solves three annoying problems at once: scattered chargers, inconsistent USB-C power delivery, and the “octopus” of cables that makes your desk look like a networking closet from 1999. Anker’s build quality is exactly what you expect—dense, clean, and pleasantly over-engineered. It doesn’t flex, rattle, or feel like a generic power cube pretending to be premium. Everything sits in a compact block that stays put and doesn’t slide around when you plug something in. In daily use, the power delivery is stable across all the USB-C ports, even with multiple high-draw devices running at once. Laptops charge at full speed, phones top off quickly, and it doesn’t run hot enough to make you question your life choices. The two AC outlets aren’t replacements for a real surge strip, but they’re perfect for a monitor or a low-draw peripheral. It’s also genuinely desk-friendly—no buzzing transformer noise, no random coil-whine, and no “maybe it’s fine?” electrical odor you sometimes get with cheaper hardware. This is a device you set once and forget, which is exactly what we want from desktop power gear. It’s worth noting that this is not a travel charger—Anker literally says so, and they’re right. The detachable extension cord is bulky in a “this lives under a desk” sort of way, not a “throw it in a backpack” way. But for a workstation, studio desk, or home office where you want fewer chargers, fewer cables, and fewer headaches, this is one of the cleaner power solutions you can standardize on. If your desk is currently powered by three random brick chargers and a surge strip from the Clinton administration, this is a very real quality-of-life upgrade.

Perfect for Travel – Reliable Power Anywhere!
I’ve had the Anker Prime Charging Station 240W since last year, and it’s been fantastic! I don’t use it at home every day, but it’s my go-to for traveling—whether I’m staying at a friend’s house, a hotel, or an Airbnb. Many places I visit don’t have enough outlets, or they only have old, unreliable USB-A ports. That’s why I got this charging station—and wow, it’s a game changer! With just one wall plug, I get 6 USB ports and 2 AC outlets, all working perfectly. I can charge my phone, MacBook, iPad, and even use the extra outlets for other devices with zero issues. Hotel lamps and outlets are often weak or in awkward spots, but this station plugs straight into the wall and delivers powerful, reliable charging every time. It truly makes my travel experience so much easier and stress-free. Note: it’s not cruise-approved since it has surge protection, but that’s no problem—I just bring my Anker 140W charger with USB ports for cruises. For everywhere else, the power station is absolutely perfect. I’ve been using it for several months now and never had a single issue. Highly recommended for any frequent traveler!

Nice and portable and charges everything
This has been awesome for getting all of my devices charged. I mean, what does htis not do? It has 2-110V outlets for anythign that does not have USB. It has both USB-A and USB-C. I keep it in the kitchen where we can quickly recharge any of our devices when we arrive home. It takes very little space and works without any learning curve. And it is small enough to drop in a carry-on bag which is all I ever use for travel when going for a week or less.

Definitely NOT for travel.
This is a great "charging station." 4 USBC ports delivering up to 240 watts. I guess that dictates the enormous plug and wire size. The wall adapter is twice the size/weight of the actual charging block. The wire has to be the thickest I have except for maybe a portable AC somewhere. That's fine. They DO say it's not for travel and the thicker wire is most likely overkill but I'm cool with that when it comes to potentially burning down my house. Their envisioned use case is probably close to a "permanent" docking station charging multiple laptops. The charger station is sleek and sexy. VERY compact (but negated by enormous AC adapter). Bluetooth is a nice feature but I don't see myself using it as much as my Anker Solix or LiFePo4 batteries in solar power system. 240w is a lot of power. 6 ports is enough. Good GAN chargers are pricey. And that's definitely the case with this. I feel like $149 for this is high. As with a lot of higher end products the "function" can be had with cheaper competitors and you're paying for a lot of "form." The form is very nice but not necessary if you're on a stricter budget. Price, almost laughably large adapter size, and the proprietary cord connection (as Anker likes to do with their products) are the only negatives. Also the fact that there is no insight into the AC port power usage. Only USB. I plugged a space heater in and turned it on and my usage did not change from .60 watts. it'd be awesome to have a built in Kill-a-watt (and it would REALLY increase the practicality of this device) but no such luck.

Go-to travel charger!!
Anker is a known and trusted brand in my opinion. When I saw this “power station” while looking for a good multi USB charger I immediately took interest because it was an Anker product. Upon receiving it, I began to really see the use cases and various applications I could utilize it for. The actual AC wall plug is a bit bulky and larger than I anticipated but does correlate to the 240W charging capabilities. The ability to detach the (bulky) wall-plug portion is very handy as I will be using this as a travel charger for work. To many times I have been in a hotel and wishing I had a short extension cord to be able to plug multiple things in closer to the bed or desk. This solves THAT, plus the hassle of having to carry multiple power bricks for the multitude of devices that I carry and use daily! What’s even better is that this power station will automatically throttle power based on the device that is being charged!! Need a high watt charge for an iPad? DONE! Need a lower watt charge for a mouse or keyboard? DONE I highly recommend downloading the Anker mobile App!! It uses WiFi and/or Bluetooth to connect to your phone wirelessly for added functionality and features. In addition to monitoring real-time power usage, you can set timers (like sleep timers) for each USB port AND THE AC power outlets as well! There is a lot of other information and additional features within the app that make using the power station even more practical! (Pro-tip: you can even turn the display off!) As with every Anker product, it is a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of the products is (in my experience) always very high! I wish there was an option/setting to make the screen automatically scroll through the three information screens so that you can monitor everything without having to press the button or use the app. So far I am really impressed with this product, and I have already recommended it to a friend who is a commercial airline pilot that travels a lot and he has already ordered one!! I will update this review as I use it more, but extremely happy with it so far!!

Awesome Power Station
I've had this in my cart waiting for it to go on sale and to my surprise it went down from $150 to under $100 on August 22, 2025. Instantly bought it because I desperately needed it to facilitate better cable management and also allow me portability when I travel. Being able to charge nearly anything and everything I have is the biggest sigh of relief. I have it running power for my hub, iPhone, iPad, Portable Monitor, MacBook Air, and other smaller devices to charge like my Bose speakers, PowerBeats, and even my Nintendo Switch 2. Installation was great. Having the power cord be detachable was an awesome foresight of Anker. I was able to route the power supply through a narrow gap behind my table for my workstation setup. Having everything managed through the app and being able to see it all through WiFi is probably the coolest feature I've ever seen for a power hub. Honestly, it was one of the selling points above all other devices I've been searching for for the past few months. Spending $100 for a power station is a lot of money, but after doing the research and now having it fully installed and operational, it allowed me to do massive cable management on everything I own and power. It definitely reduced the footprint and allows a cleaner and more organized workflow.
