I recently purchased this Double-Sided First and Last Day of School Chalkboard Sign, and it has been an excellent addition to our back-to-school and end-of-year traditions. The 12 x 10 inches size is just right—large enough to be noticeable in photos but not too bulky. The wooden design feels sturdy and durable, and I love that it’s reusable, allowing us to capture these special moments year after year. The black color contrasts nicely with the chalk, making it easy to write and read. It's become a cherished part of our school year celebrations, and I’m thrilled with how it has helped document my child’s academic journey.

This is so cute! It's a nice plastic, similar to a clipboard. The colors are nice and bright against the black background. Markers are not included. We can't wait to use this with our grandson. It's durable enough to last for a long time so we hope to have it when our granddaughter is old enough to go to school.

My little one is starting school in a couple weeks and thankfully I saw this Double-Sided First Day of School and Last Day of School Chalkboard Sign or I would have completely forgotten to get it!It’s so cute! Looks just like the picture. Love that it can be used with chalk / marker chalk and be used year after year! It seems like really nice quality so should definitely last a while, as long as you keep it in a safe place when not in use (and remember where you put it haha)!The ONE MINOR thing, on the “last day of school”, I wish it said “my best friend” instead of “my friend”. BUT, you can always add an “s” on the end to say “my friends”, which is what I’ll most likely end up doing!

Chalk markers won't work well on this, too porous

The colors are very vibrant! I love that it's double sided for first and last day of school. It is plastic coated so it's not chalk board material necessarily but the chalk pen did come up really easily of the board using a dry erase eraser.It's everything I was hoping for!

What a great way to remember the first day of school! I used sidewalk chalk so we can re-use the board for next year! This is a must - time flies so quickly and you don't even realize how much they change from year to year!

Overall, it is a cute first day of school sign. The board is sturdy and has a nice design on it. However, it doesn't come with a white marker or chalk so I had to use my own chalk. Also, when I did use chalk, whenever my kids touched the board, it would smudge the words or erase it. The chalk comes off very easily. All in all, it is a nice one time use, but it is something I want to use for the next couple of years my kid is in school.
