I’ve been using this KVM switch for a few weeks now to toggle between my personal and work laptops, both connected to a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse. For the price, it does exactly what I need without a lot of hassle. Setup was simple. It comes with two USB 3.0 cables and a wired switch button, which is a nice touch. You plug in the HDMI and USB connections for both computers, then connect your peripherals and monitor to the KVM. No drivers or software are needed. Just plug everything in and it works.Switching between machines takes about two or three seconds. There is a small delay, but it is consistent and has not caused any problems. I like that there is a physical remote button I can place on my desk instead of having to reach for the unit itself. It makes switching quick and convenient. The video output has been clear at 4K resolution, and USB performance has been solid with no issues. One thing to note is that if one computer goes to sleep, switching back to it may require you to wake it manually. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of. Overall, if you are looking for a reliable KVM switch that is easy to use and reasonably priced, this one is a solid option.

Really convenient. I was able to ziptie it somewhere to keep the switch and the cables out of sight and off of my desk space while still accessible. It was smaller than I expected which is a nice surprise.Sometimes mouse and especially keyboard input flickers but for some moments anfter switching.I like the power button that came with it and I routed it to the front where I can easily press it.

The Teetek HDMI 2 by 1 KVM Switch is very good to have to switch 2 computers between 1 monitor. It switches the keyboard, mouse, video cable and any other usb items you may wish to use on both computers. It has a short cable with a button switch at the end which you press to connect the other computer to the video display. It is compact and has no power cord as it gets its power from its cabled connections. The initial set up is well documented in the user manual and not difficult. I am impressed with its design and quality.

What a great little gadget! Working from home, I have 3 laptops but only room for 2 monitors. I was so happy to find this KVM switch that EASILY let me connect 2 of my laptops to one monitor and just as EASY with one little push of a button to switch laptop views.

1: If I'm using both computer A and computer B I can switch between the two with no issue.I'm using computer A and let both computers go to sleep (the KVM switch is still on computer A),I can wake up computer A with the keyboard or mouse.I use the wired remote or button on the KVM switch to switch over computer B.Now computer B won't wake up, I have to use the on/off button on the computer to wake it up.I can only wake the computer that the KVM switch was on last when they went into sleep mode.It doesn't matter if it was computer A or computer B that was on last.2.: I'm using both computers and computer B goes into sleep mode.I toggle the KVM switch over to computer B but cannot wake it with the keyboard or mouse.I can only wake computer B by pressing it's on/off switch.Same thing happens if I'm working on computer B computer A goes to sleep.Bottom line is this happens to both computers, not just one.The seller was very good about getting back to me to try and resolve this issue but had not seen this before. They offered a full refund without having to return the unit, thus the four stars.

This works perfectly! I needed it when I got a new computer so I could transfer things from the old computer to the new one easily. It absolutely made that job a breeze. When I finally got everything transferred I had planned to throw the old computer out. But with this switch on my desk it suddenly occurred to me, why should I throw it out just keep it because I can turn it on and use it anytime I like thanks to the switch and maybe I can get some extra use out of it that way.I don't want to confuse anybody so I should note that when I said I needed it to transfer files from the old computer to the new one, I didn't mean that this is a transfer device. You can't transfer anything directly from one computer to the other with this. (would be cool if you could)! But it meant I could easily switch over to the old computer to find whatever files I was looking for and upload them to my cloud storage and then switch right back to the new computer and download the same files from that storage.

Knee replacement surgery has me working from home for about 6 weeks. I have a PC setup but my work computer is a mac mini. Hooked it up and it worked like a champ. HDMI out of mac to input 1, HDMI out of PC to input 2 on KVM switch. Enclosed USB cables go from Mac to input 1 and PC to input 2. You will need an additional HDMI cable to go from KVM out to your monitor. Keyboard and mouse plug into the USB ports using usb cable or dongle. My only issue is the "remote" is not working so I have to push the button on the front of the switch to change computers, not a problem for me. I would give 5 stars if remote had worked.
