Good bit of kit!
Easy to use - just connect to serial cable and then plug into DVI port on PC - done!Now I have 2 PCs connected to the same screen - can choose the input I want using the front panel buttons

Easy to use
This attachment has allowed us to use an older monitor for the time being with a more up to date graphics card so we don’t have to buy a new monitor for now. Worth it if you are in this situation.

Works as intended
Have bough a number of these over the last year or so for PC's in my office.So far only one of them has failed on me, hence the 4/5 for durability.Aside from that, excellent product, not much else to say, does exactly as described.

Works, this is a genuine DVI-D to VGA adapter.
Despite not having any obvious box of electronics to handle the conversion it does allow me to use my old SONY SDM-S95AR, which only has VGA input as a secondary monitor connecting back to a Radeon RX 560.

Doesn't support 1280 x 1024 resoltuion
Tried to connect to Samsung SyncMaster 913N but will only work at 1024 x 768. The recommended resolution is 1280 x 1024 but at this setting all I get is a black screen and a "check cable" message. I have two 913N monitors and both work perfectly from a VGA output.

Exactly what we needed!
Used these to replace another brand active DVI to VGA adapter that cost almost $30. That one would cause intermittent display blackouts. This cable fixed that problem immediately!
