Using these on the top few steps of our attic staircase. The stairs are stained wood, with a varnish finish - so they could be a little slippery if attempting to use them wearing only socks. The carpet treads hold in place nicely once they are laid onto the steps, and they have a simple, but nice look to them. Installation was as simple as placing the carpets onto the staircase - which is also nice if we ever decide to change the look - they can be moved very easily. With these in place, I feel safer when I am heading back down the steps from the attic....glad to have them.

Product should be shipped in flat packaging, It is sent bent in half and when it arrives it does not want to lay perfectly flat. We put weight on to try to train it flat but it will not lay perfectly flat. Otherwise it is a good product.

I was looking for stair tread covers for the steps coming from our garage into the house. I like the idea of the runners helping to clean our feet before getting into the house. These are smaller than I would like, however most seem to be this size. These simply lie (lay) on the stairs, and don't use adhesive to attach. They have a rubbery back which is designed to hold tight to the step. Because our garage steps are simple painted wood and have worn a bit over the years, these rubber backs don't hold the runners completely from moving. If they were placed on an inside stair with a smooth finish, I could see these holding well. They are pretty thick and appear to be well made. Overall, the issues I've had with them are likely more due to where I'm using them vs. the product itself.
